It will be worth the risk because he is going to skull drug you. Seriously. You guys weren't worried about cheating and possibly having to vacate those wins versus Bama....now were you? No, of course you weren't. You made a conscious decision to cheat so you had the chance to beat Bama.
All that ACT fraud to get your players eligible, you knew what you were doing and the risks. Making sure each of your croots had a good looking lady to take care of his needs when he came to oxford? Sure, you knew it was wrong, but you made a conscious decision and said, it is worth the risk. Paying Leo 10k up front and not making sure he was going to sign with you? That is the craziest of all this, but I guess you had enough money to throw around that it wouldn't hurt if he didn't.
So, in the mean time, all you are doing is giving us bulletin board material for Thanksgiving Day this year and years to come. Take a look at recruiting and the perception that players in Mississippi have of you. This will last many years.

Damn. Half the posters on this site appear to have keen insight on the inner workings of the NCAA. ??

Not all that complicated if you read the rules. Powell posted an excerpt, but didn't read them, otherwise he wouldn't have posted nonsense about amending the NOA to Ole Miss based on speculation about what Lewis might say about other teams.

The fact that the COI granted fricking immunity to the investigators to gain truthful information from several SAs listed in the allegations seems to be alluding these Reb.

Now they think the same folks that granted immunity will just magically wipe the allegations off the OM slate and go for MSU and LSU because of Leo. Lol

The NCAA/COI won't pay a bit of attention to this piddly little Leo diversion tactic. They've got yall dead to rights - you were caught lying to them, lying and withholding truthful recruiting information from your own Compliance people, AND cheated while under investigation. This Leo shite is small potatoes now boys.

Well all your posters think they do and have been right on the mark the past 2-3 years...

It's crazy how many rival fans care about Yancy fricking Porter. Dude is terrible as a recruiting reporter, much less as an actual reporter

It's crazy how many of your fans are parroting his reasoning for thinking that this is going to go away for Ole Miss (or at the minimum come back onto MSU).

If it does come back to bite State, it'll be independent of Ole Miss' investigation anyway.

And there are only like four or five Rebel fans who even bother venturing into tRant these days, but I guess that's enough to label everyone a Yancy acolyte...

Well if I was basing my reasoning on just Ole Miss fans on Trant you would have a point.

State will eventually go back on probationmore than likely because ole miss will not rest until the favor is returned. It will have zero to do with Leo Lewis or this case though.

The section you posted is entirely about an investigation before the COI. In this case, that would be the OM case, not some spinoff issue.

Unsurprisingly, you just gave yet another example of basic failure to understand the rules.

Cue the private investigators and boosters giving NCAA investigators sexual favors like before... Right?

That is what is hilarious. No one on that side had a problem with immunity when Doug Buckles got it. Now it's "unprecedented" and setting a dangerous precedent. The ignorance is hilarious.

This guy is such a joke.

The numbers are just ridiculous. He would accept 11k or whatever it was, but not 600k+ at a superior school.. yeah, okay..

Who does he think he is. Seems very full of it.

$65k, not $650k. State also promised $80k but only delivered on $21k, so it seems as if bagmen lie. Shocker

This whole thread is simply false.

Listen Ole Miss fans..... This is about Ole Miss and Ole Miss alone.

None of this is new information. This is just you hearing it for the first time (even though you were being told).

Process it... slowly.
