He's a devastating pass protector and is great catching out of the backfield. Can't believe Kiffin doesn't utilize that more. More of Drake's role now.

Guarantee he runs sub 4.6.

He won't run sub 4.55. I think it's more likely he runs 4.6+ than under 4.55.

He's actually very shifty, but top end speed could be better. But for his size, he's extremely agile, elusive and quick on his feet....good vision as well.

If he improves his top end speed, he's as good as anyone

He's not "very shifty". I'm sorry, he's just not.

And he's not improving his top end speed. What do you think he's going to sign up for a crossfit membership and then next thing you know he's running like Dalvin Cook? That's not how it works.

And to be clear, I like Hurd a lot -- I think he's tough muhfuh -- but I don't see him being as good an NFL prospect as the individuals discussed heretofore.

You didn't watch much film of Bama and Henry this year then. Henry destroys blitzing lb's in pass protection

What is McCaffery's draft grade? Since that is what we are basing the Heisman on.

Still early, but most scouts are saying early 2nd.

Henry has the skills and has no character issues to hold him back. He will be a fine NFL running back. People need to get over what school these guys went to and evaluate the talent. In NFL it really depends on what team you get drafted by as much as in college what school you attend. See how things work out if your style gets you put with the wrong team ala Demarco Murray...

4th round is late as hell but I also see where one could say later drafted RBs have done fine in the NFL. You really gotta be the next AP/Fournette to get a 1st round grade at RB ya know

A RB that has 7 TD's with 4 in one game and 13 overall ain't getting drafted in the 2nd unless he picks up production in that area a bunch. He's a dime a dozen that padded his stats by returning kicks. Almost all of Sanders yards were running and the rest receiving.

I'm not predicting this. It's the major NFL scouting services. I don't disagree with you.

His vision is fine.

How so? I can't recall ever once seeing Henry shaken up, and he rarely goes backwards.

Exactly. Everything is so specialized these days. Teams don't expect one back, set of receivers, DBs, down lineman, LBs, or others positions to play each down anymore. You sub. based on the strength of that person's skill set. Lacy and Hill rarely play on 3rd down. Mark Ingram was that way his first few years. Darren Sproules has made a nice living playing only 3rd downs and passing sets.

I think teams have more pressing needs than to waste a first round pick on a running back that will only last a few years. Adrian Peterson is a rarity. Look at the Patriots - they make a living on no-name backs . . . and still win.

Henry and Fournetter will be 1st and 2nd down guys, and there is nothing wrong with that. As good, or bad, as they may be catching the ball or blocking, I would put money on teams finding a better back, a scat back type (who can put moves on a safety or LBer) on passing downs.

Well, after reading this thread, I've come to the same conclusion that I do every single day. LSU fans are some salty, stupid motherfrickers.

Who the hell cares what this guy has to say? And who cares where Henry is drafted? Everyone knows his quickness might limit him in the NFL. It is what it is.

Troll on, though. Troll on.

Why would he stay? So that Saban can run him completely in the ground with another year of 50 carries a game?

He's already had a ton of miles put on his tires this year. He needs to get out as soon as he can.

He has a whopping 547 carries in his career.

Matt Forte (Tulane) - 833 carries
Darren McFadden (ARK) - 785 carries
Adrian Peterson (OU) - 748 carries
Le'Veon Bell (MSU) - 671 carries
Doug Martin (Boise) - 617 carries
LeSean McCoy (Pitt) - 584 carries
Ronnie Hillman (SDSU) - 573 carries
Todd Gurley (UGA) - 510 carries

I think Henry will be just fine.
