You mad that with all that in state talent you havent won a NC in over 7 years? And some of the players that are leaving your state have multiple rings.. That has to hurt right?

I like that graph you just posted and I learned something today from it. Fresno State has a lot of LBs in the NFL.

Didn't have the grades to get into LSU. Some how "qualified" for Bama

Mo Claiborne made a 4 on the Wonderlic test. He was at LSU for how long? So, don't start this shite up again.

the answer is saban. Someone make a list of players from louisiana that went to bama and were successful pre-saban. He has ties and is the best recruiter in the business. Doesn't take a genius to figure it out.

From that list in all truth Robinson and Collins are the ones LSU really wanted. The other where not offered or offered very late (Sims, Lacey) or at some point turned down by LSU when they wanted in (Hootie Jones).

You also got Luther Davis, congrats on that.

There's also been some top talent leave for Auburn...

Trovon Reed
Greg Robinson
DeAngelo Benton (originally from Louisiana)
D'haquille "Duke" Williams (originally from Louisiana)

Obviously some didn't live up to the hype, but all were top recruits in the nation.

Didn't DeAngelo Benton commit to LSU out of HS, but had to go JuCo. Then I thought he went to Auburn out of JuCo.

I still can't believe the OP listed Kenny Bell as if it is some kind of sick burn.

Career stats at Alabama - 50 rec for 879 yards and 6 tds in 4 years. That's 12.5 rec for 219.75 and 1.5 tds a year, hardly impressive.

Truth be told, Cameron Robinson and Tony Brown (Iknow he isn't from LA) probably hurt the worst.

IQ has nothing to do with grades.

Benton chose Auburn because Randle chose LSU

Not sure who did that chart but it's wrong. The real list goes like this:

USC - 57
MIAMI - 56
LSU - 56
ALABAMA - 54
OHIO STATE - 53
FSU - 52

Trovon Reed LSU Wanted.
Greg Robinson LSU really Wanted.
DeAngelo Benton (originally from Louisiana) LSU pulled offer at the behest of Rueben Randle and family.
D'haquille "Duke" Williams (originally from Louisiana) LSU wanted, but personal issues and Dupre recruitment made Auburn the best choice for Duke. LSU and fans in-the-know wished him well-not a hard feeling in the room on either side.

Any more questions?

I wanted Cameron Sims. His senior highlights were right up there with the best, if not the best for WR that year.

Committed to LSU twice and eventually decommitted because we signed Reuben Randle.

Yes.

Originally signed with LSU out of high school in 2007, but then signed again with Auburn in 2009 out of Hargrave Military Academy.

I think HMA is known as a prep school and not a Junior College, though. Recruits typically go to prep schools for a year and Junior Colleges for two years.

It's just a few guys. Every state loses top talent. GA, FL, TX, CA, LA, IL.
