Saban makes $7M
Miles makes $4.3
You saying Saban isnt worth the extra $2.7M?

I wanted Cameron Sims. His senior highlights were right up there with the best, if not the best for WR that year
If we are going off highlights, Trey Quinn bro.

Dupre didn't have a system that led to highlights, but he is the best WR from last year. Quinn will be better than Sims as well.

You did.
But Les and LSU did not.
Especially early and with Dupre/Quinn and others at stake.
Just giving you the facts man.

There's also been some top talent leave for Auburn...
Trovon Reed
Greg Robinson
DeAngelo Benton (originally from Louisiana)
D'haquille "Duke" Williams (originally from Louisiana)
Obviously some didn't live up to the hype, but all were top recruits in the nation.
AU has pulled some good talent from LA, and MSU is using LA talent to their advantage this year too.

D'haquille "Duke" Williams (originally from Louisiana) LSU wanted, but personal issues and Dupre recruitment made Auburn the best choice for Duke. LSU and fans in-the-know wished him well-not a hard feeling in the room on either side.

Didn't I hear/read something about some East St. John gang or something after him, which is why he wanted to stay away from the area?

Both went to Thibodaux high, I wonder if Auburn as some sort of in at the school?

Still, that is not why he chose Auburn over LSU.

I don't expect Auburn to land anyone from there, anytime soon...

Oh we're paying our coaches to "respect" our school? Maybe that why LSU hasnt won anything lately, you're paying your coach to do the wrong thing, we pay ours to win Championships. And he's pretty good at it..

It had nothing to do with Spliffy Noil, but a bit to do with Dupre (although not a deciding factor because LSU would have been happy to take both). It was felt that a personal issue beyond his control was in play . And that a change of scenery was in his long term interest. I hear the LSU staff really liked him personally and felt he was a good kid and an absolute freakish talent-but that maybe circumstances could not be overcome. So when he changed his mind and went to Auburn-everybody understood his choice and wished him well.

We still get most of the top Louisiana talent, and we recruit very well out of state, so I'm fine with recruits playing elsewhere, especially if it's Alabama.

Truth be told, Cameron Robinson and Tony Brown (Iknow he isn't from LA) probably hurt the worst.
I really don't think either hurt. Cameron is good but we have La'El this year and next year we'll have Teuhema.
Tony Brown is not has good as White or Robinson and next year we'll have Toliver.
Collins didn't hurt either cause now we have Jamal who is better. Our other safeties aren't exactly scrubs either.

Dude this is 2014.
McCarron and the boys are long gone.
You aren't even the champion of YOUR OWN STATE.
