If Alabama produced as much SEC talent as Louisiana they couldn't keep it all either. Only two players on your list were considered big losses for LSU. Robinson could not be guaranteed a starting job at LSU and that was the deciding factor with him. Collins pretty much is just a family rebel. Lacy was not academically qualified until it was too late.
Their are 4 reformed Gumps playing for the Tigers. Three are in the 2-deep and two are starters. Not a bad trade-off.

Saban will get his share of La recruits and has signed some big ones. But, he has never wanted a La recruit as badly as he wanted Fournette. Never. But you can lie about it and say he really wasn't the biggest priority for him.

Went all in for Malichi too.
