Whatever Corky.

Better backs don't lay down and quit. Fournette put it on cruise control.

I've not said Alabama doesn't produce great players, numbnuts. I simply said it's pretty common knowledge that Fournette is still the better back. I don't have a link for conversations and talk radio, but when I get a minute I guess I'll do some googling.

Look, don't worry about googling. I believe that you've heard talking heads say that LF7 is better than Henry.

lets just agree to disagree.

Clearly Henry has no problem blowing past defenses. And he has the most YAC in the country. There is no level between them. They're different, but both elite.

And Henry would have blown his numbers out of the water if we caried enough to give him a lot of runs vs our shitty teams.

no doubt

doesn't change the fact that it's known that Henry is on the better team and benefited from that. Watching Fournette on Bama's team would be unbelievable. I think we can all agree that Fournette put up numbers despite the terrible offense he plays on.

He's had two solid years compared to Henry's one

Henry didn't have a solid year last year? Weird, I could have swore that he had over 1000 all purpose yards and 13 touchdowns in 2014. WEIRD.

2014 Fournette had 44 more rushing yards but had to do it with more attempts than Henry. Henry had a better average rushing than Fournette in 2014 and 1 more TD. Fournette started 6 games to Henry's 2.

A lot of Bama fans say their OL is bad but it certainly isn't. They got banged up but then gelled as the season progressed. The bye week obviously made a huge difference. Also Coker came along big time since struggling to keep his job. It makes sense Henry picked up steam when he did.

This isn't common knowledge.

I wonder why this delusion persists? Would LF has as many or more yards if he played for us? I'm not convinced he would hold up for 45 carries and run a TD against AU on carry #46. If you LSU people want to prove that then you need to get a better OL and QB to take some focus off him. Then we'll see if he can do his magic on a good defense like Henry has. Because to date he's just a good back getting yards before contact.

We have one OL that is All SEC worthy. The right guard and right tackle were just down right bad at times this season. It is a below average OL. Fact.

Fournette had more yards per carry against common opponents than Henry this season.

Give Henry and Alabama credit for wearing teams down in the second half and then crushing teams with their running game late.

No problem with Henry winning the Heisman or 1st team All-American or whatever. He had a better volume of statistics, and played for the better team. That's what post-season awards are about in this age.

I'm sure he'll add 300 yards or whatever to his total in the next two games, as well.
