well that makes no sense

one could go to the titans with a terrible OL, and one could go to the Patriots with a good OL

draft grade for the same position is what would be the best indicator of who NFL scouts think is the better player

you can't be serious. So, by your measure, Trent Richardson is still a better RB than all of the other NFL RBs that still have jobs? Got it.

The real Butthurtness of our L5U Ranters is on display for all to see.
And just when the NC whitewash was fading.

at that time coming out of college he was valued as the better runningback, yes.

of course things change in the NFL.

I am talking about current valuations, there isn't a GM on the planet that would take Henry over Fournette if both were on the table.

You've been a member of this brigade for some time, but I just want to say I admire you for trying to rein this in for the good of the SEC Rant.

How do you know this? Do you have any real proof?

Also, current "valuations" are absolutely not the end-all be-all in determining who is better, because A LOT of "valuations" are dead wrong in the NFL.

I'll just ask you this-would you take Henry over Fournette to whatever favorite NFL team Alabama fans have (prob the Saints)?

Henry's year in '14 was better than Fournette's. Unless LSU fans want to change the criteria.

Why are you being intentionally obtuse? That view isn't controversial at all. If you want to come after him, just state the fact that this isn't particularly relevant to CFB success.

I'm Butthurt that the Bama fans think Henry is better than Fournette when stats say otherwise. If Fournette had 2 more games do you think he breaks the record? Or finishes ahead of Henry? Be honest for a second.

Hell, if just 1 more game against D2 McNeese State gets to happen he probably has 4 200 yard games this season.

Facts are he finishes third in the country with only 11 games. #1 and 2 each had 13 games - and if they only had 12 games he'd only be 56 yards shy of #1.

Most nfl teams don't want a guy who runs straight up and given the bust of Trent Richardson, Eddie lacys Fatass, and mark Ingram taking 3 years to contribute, they probably don't want to take an Alabama running back.

Even spencer ware is beginning to have a decent nfl career, funny I remember in 2011 everyone saying ware was not "in the same class" as Richardson.

I have been on the Beast train since he got to Bama. This thread was unneeded, but here I am.

Alabama RBs have performed better over the last 3 years than LSU rbs in the NFL, broseph.

How so?

Nice save on last 3 years since we've had 1 running back go the last 3 years

You are basically just saying "All I know is I know nothing." We obviously don't have a way to categorically prove this, but if it's not a consensus of GMs that would agree, it's not far from one. Most anyone would agree with this.

I'm honestly not even saying Founette is a slam dunk to be the next Peterson. I think his vision and pass blocking need some work. But come on. He's a freak prospect such that the tradeoff between size/power and agility is ridiculously minimal.
