Why in the hell have the NCAA is someone is allowed to cheat so much more.

It's all about the money. Look what happened to Bama last time they got hammered. It took 10+ years for them to get back. That's why the big time programs like you mentioned never get hammered unless its really egregious stuff. They know who the cash cows are, and will never hammer them due to the money they pull in.

Dude, it's like if we can't beat them they must be doing something wrong. Maybe Bama works harder than the coaches and AD you've had at LSU or they are not as stupid and are willing to adjust with the times. This is the butthurt thread that makes all the fans that start it look like asses.

If you look around enough you will problems at every major program. My issue is that Alabama needs to be investigated because their level of dominance is beyond the norm in the modern era of college football especially when you consider the 85 scholarships, the greater equality of tv money among the top 64 programs in the power conferences and the fact that facilities and so on have never been more equitable in college football.

Do you really believe that Saban is that great of a coach? I mean he's good, but the level of dominance is way beyond what is the norm.

Their fans will stab someone if that person isn't upset enough after a game.

What media member wants to go snooping in that crazy mess?

To answer your question OP, Emmert takes orders from Saban most of the time.

I'm just glad they're leaving Ole Miss alone ... The last thing we need is the NCAA snooping around.

You don't have to cheat when you sit on top of the mountain with the best mind in football running your program.

Yeah, I've said before thar Bama has the machine running tip top, so they probably don't have to cheat the way they and others have in the past. What big time recruit wouldn't want to go play at a place where you're the best of the best if they even want you, and you're pretty much guaranteed to be playing for championships during your 3-4 years there. No other program can offer ,"cleanly', what they can. I'm not saying they don't cheat, but they are already a leg up on the competition, so they can afford to dot the I's and cross the T's without cutting corners other programs have to.

Man, LSU fans really do have Bama Derangement Syndrome.

Even our real rivals, Auburn and Tennessee, aren't as eat up with Bama's success like LSU fans are.

Is it the "Crazy Ex-Wife" effect that Saban has on y'all that was the tipping point?

It's fascinating to watch.

I don't think I could handle being a member of a fanbase that looks at everything about their team through the comparison prism of another team. It must be miserable.

He knows he isn't the "best" coach. Look at the past 5 or 6 recruiting classes. My wife could win 9 games with the talent he has acquired. He and any other great coach would say they can't win without the best players.

So hard for people to accept that Saban is just the greatest CFB coach of all time.
