Why does LSU still hold a grudge against Saban?

It's not like he directly left LSU to go to Bama. Tuberville left Ole Miss overnight for Auburn and we eventually got over it. Why can't LSU? Last night's FU Saban chant on national TV made it very clear he's in your heads.

The relationship between Saban and the LSU fanbase was rocky. Y'all and the media were highly critical of him (much like with Miles). The Nick Satan nickname came from the BR media. He's alluded to the fact that he did not feel appreciated at LSU. LSU fans like to forget that now and act like he was beloved the way Bama loves him now. It ain't true.

What Tuberville did was worse.
He left for an NFL team. He didn't like it and came back. You guys already had a coach and weren't looking to hire.
We were looking for a coach and got him to come.
Again, I don't see why you're so angry with him. If not for him where would LSU football be? They surely would be no where near where they are today. Forget those two championships as well.

Majority of those kids chanting that last night were still having their asses and noses cleaned by their mothers when Coach Saban was at LSU. Sort of like the Michigan State fans yelling a-hole during the Coach Saban interview on GameDay Saturday morning. Like those kids even have a clue about his time there or his reason for leaving.
I do not have a grudge against Coach Saban for leaving LSU or returning back to the college game at Alabama. Man made decisions for his own reasons, no reason for me to question those decisions

I don't get it either. They should get down on their knees and kiss his rings. Without him you don't have either championship. Miles would have been gone a long time ago.

Because he's won 3 national championships at BAMA, but only won 2 at LSU.

Stan, you don't know that. Just like you don't know if Coaches Price and Rodriguez had stuck at Alabama, you guys would not have more than 3 recent championships

I actually think that's BS but even if it's true, don't you think it's time to let it go... I mean it's been 10 years already...
The simple fact is that LSU is still mad that he is gone... I would certainly be pissed if he left us to go to another college but the man left to coach in the NFL... That is EVERY college coaches dream!

It sucked when he left but at the same time I have a life and so does Saban and I agree it's very immature to still be upset about it. I'm die hard lsu but geez, at the end of the day it's only football.
