the chant doesn't equal some bitter grudge held by lsu fans ... it was the students, largely ... that's what students do ... they get rowdy ... it's what makes college football special ...

Why have you decided that a few thousand 18-22 year old students know what the frick they are doing?

Yeah, I'd want to see a link too. That doesn't really sound like Saban. He's not the type to publicly complain about something so unrelated to football.

how was he a 'journeyman'? ... he left msu for lsu, which is a step up ... nothing against msu, but lsu paid more and plays in the sec ... he won a title at lsu and decided to give the nfl a shot ... didn't like the nfl that much and jumped at a chance to move back to one of the preeminent programs in the country ...
he's not larry brown ... lsu was a terminal job, college wise, esp since his alma mater is kent st ... never have understood why people thought he would leave bama after X years ...

Why do other people care what SOME LSU fans do or think?
The FU chant was from the students - doing what students do.
BTW - Alabama was never a consistent recruiting foe for LSU in the state of Louisiana until Saban went there - using his knowledge and contacts gained while at LSU. That irks quite a few people.
BTW 2 - The students did an FU Spurrier when he was here with USC.
Maybe you guys are misinterpreting a grudge for something as simple as students harassing top coaches/acting obnoxious.

it is not really saban. It is BAMA and their arrogant fans and that was student sec chanting that it kids being kids .
