Othello, that is how your sport coat should look if you are planning on gaining about 30 pounds in the near future. Tracy's coat actually fit him better than Frank's, the pants were just about 10 sizes too big.

Sorry, can't get past them to look at the cut of the suit.
The second pic of Palmer looks much better, but can only see from the chest up. I like his shirt in this pic much better, as well. Still hate the damn tie.
Btw, really snugly fitted suits with very short skinny pants just look very feminine to me. Not masculine at all imo.

The whole no-socks thing is a bit stupid, I'll admit, and they couldn't have had picked a gayer looking model if they tried, but the jacket fits him well. That model's pants are actually tighter than Jesse's tend to be and, imo, are on the verge of being too tight.

Well, I'm obviously not fashion-forward, but with all fashion and trends, we'll look back at this in about 15 years and think

The irony is that the gay friends I have don't wear ridiculously tightly-tailored suits. Tailored, yes. Mad-Menish? Yes. But not like these. Maybe they are behind the times.

Me too. Teenage girls are wearing ridiculous shite nowadays. The high waist jeans and shorts kill me. They look like extras from an old episode of 90210. For some reason, the "mom butt" look has made a comeback.

You should have some flexibility in your shoulders. Like say you're getting ready to go to a bar with some friends and some ladies and you're getting ready to go but waiting around. You shouldn't be worried about busting the sports coat because a buddy picked up the football and started throwing it around with you and you've got no movement to move you arms up and around to throw and catch it.
I'm not saying super super loose, but when it literally looks too small, it just looks tacky to me and arm movement is poor.

That is unfortunate because it wasn't attractive or comfortable the first time it was "in" back in the 80s & it's still hideous.

We always do, but men definitely have it better than women.
Our styles don't change too much. Sure, lapels widen and narrow. The cut of a suit might be more fitted or looser. The break of a pair of slacks might rise and fall.
But a good looking suit is a good looking suit, and if the man isn't a total slob, he looks good.
Women's fashion...
That shite changes weekly...drastically.

That's still perfectly acceptable, it's just not the most "in-style" thing at the moment. Just as long as the suit isn't long and baggy. I don't even wear suits as tight as the guy in the GQ pic, and I wear more of a medium break than a slight break like he has. My suits all look like Jesse's for the most part in terms of fit. I don't wear exclusively skinny ties though.

No troll, but where do you wear these suits?

The thing is, it's a compromise between look and comfort. If you can do jumping jacks or throw a ball around with a full throwing motion comfortably in a suit jacket, then your suit is probably too big. That being said, my suits all fit similar to Jesse's and I never feel like I'm in danger of popping a button or ripping a shoulder seam.

Work. And I work in the industry.

I'm assuming the fashion industry, which is the only place you could wear a suit like that and not get laughed out of the building. I understand the fashion aspect of it, but unless you are in the "industry" or are a celebrity, you can't wear shite like that in the real business world.

I'd wear a suit constantly if I could afford a closet full of nice ones. I essentially enjoy being well dressed, laconic, and to have some kind of good whiskey at hand. I can pretty much handle whatever is next at that point.
I've pretty much been 65 since I was 3.

Umm, yeah, you can.
ETA: I mean if the guys in your office think a nice pair of dockers, not too scuffed up squared off brown shows, a braided belt and a thick arse button down polo is styling. They might hate.
