I just look at a guy like AJ who was probably y'all's best overall QB in the last 15 years and he might not even make a team

AJ was a 4 star ranked 7th at his position. He did okay

The last 4 starters made it to the NFL, no? The vast majority of college qbs that make it end up as back-ups or cut within 5 years. It's the nature of the position.

The real question is why are LSU fans so obsessed with how players do in the NFL. No other sec team does this as much.

There have not been any. Phillip Sims was the highest rated QB we have signed in the era of modern recruiting sites. He was a four star. Brodie Croyle was rated very high, but he was always going to Alabama.

AJ making or not making a NFL roster will have nothing to do with where he played in college. The NFL is a true meritocracy. If a kid has the skills and mindset that a team wants, then he plays. They give zero fricks about his school.
