Stevens was a douche extraordinaire.

All beat writers are nerds that need to get real jobs. It is known.

Also: We can't all have an A Number 1 fan for a writer like Yancey is for OM.

Oh yeah, because NCAA "confirming" anything means it's without a shadow of a doubt, 100% correct.

Of course not. But it's the job of a reporter to . . . REPORT. He reported that the NCAA investigation involved a vehicle, which it did, as confirmed by the later NCAA report. Please, could you direct me to the evidence that the NCAA report was inaccurate?

Holy shite he works for our scout site. Are you seriously trying to make that comparison?

We all loved Ian Rappaport when he was our beat writer and now he's on the NFL network and could eventually replace Mort or John Clayton as an insider

Veazey was good.
Marcello was boring.
Bonner makes more grammar mistakes than a GED student. I refuse to believe he has a college degree.
Stevens was a huge douche. My least favorite of our writers.

I normally don't if I see it is an obvious Egg thread.

But its sad because MSU and Ole Miss have some of the best posters on the site, but yall keep engaging with each other with the best barbs.

It is kinda like smoking: I can chose not to smoke. But that doesn't make my coworkers (and therefore my office) smell less like smoke. Only banning smoking on the premises does that.

Egg Bowl is an awesome game. I remember growing up how heated that week got between my uncle (a MSU grad) and my Grandad (an Ole Miss fan).

I think it has THE best name of any rivalry in America, and I appreciate the fact that the name requires someone to read a book (which fights back against the misconception about Mississippi).

I just think yall waste SO much energy on each other, when we all could benefit from your talents.

And you like LSU and aTm?

You are the only person actually eligible to use the SEC chant at games..

I would put Ole Miss as third (behind Arky and Vandy) and MSU at around four or five.

But shite that is still Big 6, and better than A&M and LSU (13th and 14th respectively.

Actually Tulane and A&M. My dad is an alum and HUGE LSU fan though.

The only time I am doing that is if we are killing a Big 12 team...
