Lol I was trying to say I'm not one of the people who believes if you don't play the game than you don't know anything because I wasn't saying that at all.

we know what you're trying to say. but you don't have to have played a sport to understand it. there are a lot of people paid a lot of money to analyze, sometimes even coach, sports they've never personally played. that doesn't mean they haven't spent thousands of hours studying said sports throughout the years. that doesn't mean some analyst could go run a football practice and be successful, but saying someone who hasn't played a sport can't possibly understand that sport is extremely ignorant.

No that's the whole reason I said in the op I understand that there are fans of sports who have never played that sport. Hell I like basketball and soccer but only played one year of each. I mean I have a good friend who lives in a small town who doesn't even have a football team so I know that there are lots of fans of sports that for whatever reason never played.
