Wait so let me get this straight.all of you unanimously believe that if you have never played football, or any other sport for that matter, that you can still discuss and understand the game just ad well as anyone who has ever coached or played it? OK thanks.

I have put in hundreds of games of Madden and NCAA vidya gamez though so I assume I am good to criticize.

Anyone who gets paid to do a job and fails to do it well deserves to catch some flack for it. This includes college coaches and professional players and coaches.

Yep. I've never played hockey in my life, but I've learned enough by watching and reading to hold my own in a conversation about it.
On the flip side, I played soccer for years and still do from time to time, but I know very little about strategy. Plenty of people who have never played could probably school me on it provided that they have put in the time to study it.

Hugh freeze played in high school, and one guy out of however many coaches in the game didn't play football. Yeah that's a real good average.

He answered your question correctly. He didn't insinuate that you needed 4 CBs on the field. He just said you don't want only 2 CBs out there with 3 slow LBs against 4 WRs. Your CBs and Safeties better be fricking awesome if you plan to run that formation.

Teams match up 4 corners on 4 WRs all the time. They also do a ton of other things all the time. Whats the down and distance? Whats the score? Whats the strength of my team? Whats the weakness of their team? What coverage am I playing? Am I blitzing? There are so many ways to play defense, how can there be a wrong answer? You are an idiot. You basically started off your thread by saying you can't criticize players if you haven't played that sport, but gave no legitimacy to your claim. I played elementary school football, does that qualify me to criticize people? What about high school? College? What if its just NAIA? What if I am just really good at madden? I can criticize people when they are wrong. You are an idiot.
I'd be willing to bet that even people who have never started threads before, would know that this is a horrible thread. And they would criticize it.
