The red team is banged up - maybe more than a bye can help with their LT.

The red team has already been wounded - by Bro Wallace, for heavens' sake.

The red team has everything to lose.

The red team does not have a world-class running game.

The red team has a singular receiving threat.

The red team's QB is nothing special.

The red team does not have a suffocating D.

The red team's coach has shown chinks in the brain.

Tigers can win this: run the ball, tough D, mistake-free ST, no turnovers, low error-rate - pretty simple.

So Bama blowing out this UF team that suddenly means?

And listing UK as proof of trending up is sad.

What about the LSU trend of losing 2/3 to ranked opponents though?

It's not true?

LSU beat Wisconsin, lost to Auburn and beat Ole Miss. State was unranked at the time of our game.

it's not proof. it's evidence. and you can't possibly think that uk isn't a better team, perhaps even respectable.

how many yards did fla gain in that game? was that game on the road?

it's also interesting that you're skirting the point, bama's recent games against ranked opponents. this is territory that saban hasn't been in since '07 and '02.

the way i see that game - state has 18 returning starters and lsu was in transition (and still is to a degree). this was state's year for that matchup. there's no shame in losing to them this season given the circumstances. even so, lsu showed some fight in the 2nd half

the auburn game is inexcusable and also appears to have been an anomaly looking at 9 games.

this substantiates the trend. lsu, aside from the auburn game is steadily improving. as opposed to fact: bama hasn't been quite as good on the road, fact: bama's record against recent ranked opponents is less than stellar.

again, i'm just mentioning some intangibles. there's no way to predict if that will determine the outcome sat.

Beating UK is evidence of LSU trending up? Its meaningless. Thats like me using AnM as proof of Bama trending up.

Alabama played UF at home, which you already know, and i honestly dont remeber how many yards they had. I find it interesting you didnt ask how many yards Bama gained.

I agree LSU has improved, but damn, that was the largest room in the house.

If the red team is wounded by Bo Wallace as you say, what did Auburn do to y'all?

Seems like they cut your balls off to me. So we are facing an emasculated team.

Will Alabama really lose to a team with no balls?

No eunuch has ever beaten Alabama.

The Yellow team has been wounded twice as much.

The red team has a singular receiving threat.

The red team's 2nd receiver has nearly as many catches as the yellow team's 1st.

The red team's QB is nothing special.
He leads the SEC in QB rating. The yellow team's QB is at the bottom.
quote:

The red team does not have a suffocating D.
They lead the conference. Again.

The red team's coach has shown chinks in the brain.

He owns the yellow team's souls.

Other than that, you're spot-on.

i don't understand what the problem is here. 1. uk is better this season and is a pretty decent team. 2. that game was in the middle of lsu's current win streak.

so, yes. uk is evidence and it's frankly not that hard to understand.

quote:

Thats like me using AnM as proof of Bama trending up
i hope you're kidding. one team is decent. the other is hot garbage

quote:

i honestly dont remeber how many yards they had
it was substantial. my point in bringing that up is that lsu beat that same team even though it was in gainesville and lsu was much more handicapped at that point than bama regarding experience

bama fans in this thread still not really addressing the point - recent bama games against ranked teams and the implication

Yeah, because our roster full of 5-star players is the same as your roster full of 2-star players.

this is one of the intangibles i was referring to, especially in tiger stadium. lsu has been able to deliver some punches and look like they're getting some momentum but, bama just takes it in stride and calmly responds. it's unbelievable. let's hope that doesn't happen sat. evil must not prevail

what miles has accomplished at lsu in 9 seasons is nearly legendary in sec history. unfortunately, what saban has accomplished in the same time frame is even more amazing.

Your roster full of 5 star players still lost to ole miss.

Either freeze is a better coach than Saban or your super rad team is average at best.

Or a team full of 18-22 year old, no matter how good they are or better than the other team can make mistakes or be injured (Drake and our Center - after he went out Ole Miss suddenly started stopping Bama's offense) and lose a game vs an opponent who is playing in the biggest game in the history of their program (to them) .

Upsets can happen to the best of teams. I know you are in uncharted territory for MSST and lack the experience to know how to comprehend this phenomenon but the t "we believe V. 2.014" gets shut down by Bama again this year. Probably lose to Ole Miss in the Egg bowl as well.

Yeah the 200 total yard UF gained vs Bama was substantial. Geez, Bama killed them, they scored on 2 non offensive plays and the other was off another turn over. That UF game isn't the game you want it to be vs Bama as some proof.

Edited to add stats. Substantial alright.

Team Stats FLA ALA
First Downs 11 28
Total Plays 55 87
Total Yards 200 672
Passing 93 449
Rushing 107 223
Penalties 5 / 36 11 / 80
Possession 20:44 39:16
Turnovers 3 4

You didn't read OP.

Alabama is walking into the final third of the season all high and shite from beating garbage teams.

You've had one test and you've failed.

You can believe if you want to, but sane people don't.
