Was it the three point victory at UF or the arse kickings LSU took by MSU and AU that were supposed to look good to my eyes?

Going to take a miracle for Alabama to pull this off. LSU has been unstoppable this year and Alabama just hasn't matched up well with LSU lately.

Alabama has a more impressive win ATM and Florida over ole miss and Florida. Lsu has a worse loss. I think all things equal bama ability to be more balance causes concern. We are hanging hopes on being able to run the ball and that's not always possible against strong defenses. I like being at home for this game. Hope to keep it close and find a way to pull out the win at the end. I think bama should be favored but like the ole miss game we like our chances. I wouldn't bet on lsu but I wouldn't be surprised with a win either. Bama is a different team at home versus on the road.

No SEC team has looked great this season IMO. Bama has the talent, but looks like crap v Arkansas and loses to Ole Miss. LSU gets stomped by Miss State and Auburn, then soundly defeats Ole Miss. Miss State looks like utter crap against Arky and South Carolina almost beats Auburn.

I think you are nuts just to assume Bama will beat LSU.

Eh... Alabama is still capable of looking shitty, as shown in the Arkansas game.
Did you watch the Arkansas/State game last week?

Lsu has a good enough defense to beat any team in the country and a bad enough passing game to lose any remaining game. We will need to play well to win. Need a big special team play and not turn the ball over 4 times.

As for Arkansas they are well built on the lines and will give everyone fits. Just not enough playmakers to win a lot if games. They also need to learn how to win close ones.

Nice. A 3 point win with a hail mary at the end is a sound beating. A 7 point win with a hail mary at the end is almost a loss.

Bama is a very bad match up for LSU this year. We have a GREAT rush defense and LSU's offensive strength is rushing. Our only weakness is in the secondary but LSU can't exploit it. Bama's offense is versatile as hell. LSU's main weakness is rush defense and we have great RB's. Not to mention we've NEVER been effected by the Death Valley syndrome.

This is another slaughter like the AU/LSU game. LSU- prepare thy anus.

So I guess you would say State didn't dominate LSU either then?

If LSU loses to Alabama, they'll be either even or underdogs to Arkansas in Vegas next week...watch it.

If we beat Bama I will almost guarantee we will lose to Arkansas the following week. They are some ornery cusses to beat no matter where you play them. After a bruising battle with Bama we will be in a bad spot (physically and emotionally).

If we lose to Bama then I would say (at best) even money on beating Arky the following week.

Feel very good we are going to trounce A&M but you never know. Think we match up with them very well. But I hate that Thanksgiving date. Our team feeds off of the energy of our fans and I doubt many will be in attendance.

I am a huge Auburn fan, but you have to admit that South Carolina game was way too close for comfort. I really felt we might lose because Spurrier was play calling like a man with nothing to lose.

The score for Ole Miss/LSU was not really indicative of the game and I think you know that.

My point is no team really stands heads and shoulders above the rest this year. No looking ahead.
