Where is the proof that Saban would have been able to build this dominant program at LSU?

All the championships he's won at Bama is proof enough for me.

I know you don't want to admit this, but the rebuilding project he inherited at LSU was much bigger than the one at Alabama.

I disagree. We weren't too far removed from probation and had a depleted roster. Plus, if we are to believe the standard LSixU narrative that Dinardo could recruit, I'd venture to say he hat his last couple of classes were better than Shula's.

huh? LSU made Saban the highest paid coach in college football history at that point. They definitely went all in on Saban. Saban, unfortunately at the time, had NFL aspirations and there was nothing LSU could do about it.

I dont remember the entire conference ever complaining about the refs being in LSU's pocket. LSU was committed to everything above board they could offer. they werent in the same zip code with what bama was willing to do and offer. LSU is at the crossroads right now though. waiting for the man to come so they can sell their proverbial soul to match their daddy bama

It's silly to say that Saban would have built a dynasty at LSU.

Alabama made Saban great. LSU isn't Alabama.
