big 12-ish

This is what I don't get. Manziel didn't play in the big12. None of the coaching staff came from the big12. Nothing about what A&M is doing this year has anything to do with that conference.

He kicked an extra point! And he is not even the kicker! Oh, boo-fricking-hoo. Football is supposed to be fun.

So if Lsu or Bama were to do the same thing when they played yall, would you feel the same way?

Well, since he missed it I wouldn't have felt bad at all.

When in the hell would I care who they were using to kick their extra points? I have no idea why anyone would get upset about something like that. Of course I'd be fine with it.

Absolutely. Non-issue.

Guess y'all probably thought the same about Charles Woodson playing CB and WR his Heisman year at Michigan

This is quite possibly the worst "analogy" I've ever seen. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you were trying to make some sort of pun with this.

Dude had a HUGE 30+ yard reception against ohio state that lead to a UM touchdown. Michigan also attempted to use him to run a HB pass play--in the national title game. He was primarily a defensive player. Didn't hear people crying about that being classless. Not sure why you're taking issue with this, other than your standard, run-of-the-mill aggy hate, juff.

Settle down people. Was it a pub stunt? Sure. It was a ppv game and there was no other way to get an ESPN highlite out of the game. Of course it looks cheap and plastic but give A&M a break, they are still learning how to eat at the grown ups table.

Please. The Aggie fan base is the king of "we are so friendly and classy".

Y'all are the first to call out someone else for not acting appropriately...

The fact that you took issue with Manziel kicking a freaking extra point in garbage time tells me all I need to know about you, as well.

Get off your high horse

I think if my def gave up 6 TDs in a half and my offense scored zero...who kicked the opponent's XPs would be the least of my concerns.

Not many of the average age on the Rant will remember but LSU did do this back in the 60's when they were trouncing Tulane (one of the three times they beat them 62-0). I think the holder was usually Billy Ezzell and the kicker Doug Moreau. Instead, Moreau held and Ezzell kicked. That was also the game that LSU went for two ahead 60-0 to make it 62-0 (again). I think they went for two because Ezzell missed but I'm not sure.

Funny, seems like aTm fans are the only ones buying it "just being fun" like Sumlin wants to say. Everyone saw that exactly what it was for - heisman pub in a game nobody would have talked about otherwise. Definitely bush league.
