Amazing hate for coach miles.

Its not hate for the man, just frustration. He has a bunch of exactly what you want in a coach. The kids, parents and media love the man so he will always get the athletes to be successful but he can't stay out of the way. If he had gotten an offensive coordinator with a brain and let the man do what you pay him for and we wouldn't even be talking about this. Pretty fricking sad really, to have a head that g-dam hard.

Why did LSU fans want to fire Miles?

You are so monumentally off base and out of touch with reality that it's humorous.

Only about 10% of LSU fans ever REALLY wanted Miles gone.
I would say another 20% would not have minded had Alleva gone through with it.

It wasn't the fans, Socrates,

A few strong-armed members of the LSU Board of Supervisors told Alleva that they wanted him gone,
NOT the 'fans', NOT the 'Athletic Dept.', NOT the Alumni,

JUST those few members of the BOS.

Alleva and those BOS members actually made the decision to keep Miles a week BEFORE the season finale against A&M.

Don't make up fantasies, it's really really embarrassing....

Wrong answer...after the latest Old Piss loss, the majority wanted him gone. After the ridiculous way it was handled by Alleva/LSU administration/Louisiana Politicians, it was impossible to run him out of town.

He deserved to be run off and it was simply mishandled. His seat is still hot and the save Miles shite will end if he doesn't change the broken record he has been stuck on for entirely too long.

Edit: If it weren't for a completely inept a&m team, Miles would have been fired regardless of all of the political crap.

Let me ask a question directed to all SEC fans EXCEPT LSU football fans:

You have observed your team play against the Les Miles coached LSU Tigers for years. In your opinion, does Coach Miles typically field a well-coached, well-disciplined team that plays crisp, smart, mental-mistake-free football in all three phases of the game?

If your answer is "no", you will have found the reason why.

We want championships. It's simple.

LSU fans aren't happy with Buffalo Wild Wings Championships, Music City Bowl championships or Citrus bowl wins. Shaking my head.

Nice opinion.

I don't happen to agree with it, but - nice opinion.

LSU plays in the SEC West....and lately that has been a problem and seems to be getting worse.

LF7 can not do it by himself. When teams that have a run stopping defense he gets shutdown. Arkansas had the same problem until we installed a new OC who will take what the defense will give.

LSU has the talent no doubt and when they start getting the ball out to the receivers LF7 will be hell in the SEC. Arkansas passed for 3500 yards last year, teams were loading the box and we picked up some easy yardage which kept the chains moving especially from about the 5/6th game forward. Miles could do this with a passing QB in the future and LSU would probably win a NC a lot more often. I have great respect for the talent LSU gets every year, just need one simple change to fix the offense and Game On!

That is sublimely laughable....

Russell went 22-4 with an SECCG app and 2 dominating bowl wins in 2005-2006, while throwing for over 5,000 yards.

Flynn went 11-2 with a BCSNCG win in 2007, while throwing for over 2700 yards.
(Perrilloux filled in for the injured Flynn in 2007 SECCG.)

Mettenberger went 20-6 with 2 bowl apps and 1 win, while throwing for nearly 6000 yards.

But Mallett, Wilson and Allen were better.

Gotcha....

You know that part in Bull Durham where Crash tells the batter what pitch is coming?

Well our offense did that every game for years.

He has been bad at adjusting to the current climate of CFB. LSU has all of the resources imaginable and shouldn't, in theory, be losing to Arkansas & Ole Miss.

Miles is Houston Nutt with access to better players and not as motivating...A one-dimensional nightmare offensively with a solid to great D

Because they are like the girl who puts out on the first date and falls in love.
The guy moves on and marries the love of his life.
The girl can never get over it and stalks the guy the rest of his life, never being able to be satisfy by another guy.
