Why did LSU fans want to fire Miles?

Miles has gone 112-31 for a win % of .778. Saban went 48-16 at LSU for a win % of .750. Miles in addition has generally faced a tougher SEC than Saban faced in the early 2000s. He's posted a better record than Saban did against better scuedules. Why change?

Alabama's got their foot on LSU's throat and the fans can't stand it. After losing to Alabama, they go in the dumper every year and end up mailing the rest of the season in.

No it's not Bama. It's actually ole miss and Arkansas... Lsu has vastly out recruited Arkansas and has a much better team. No excuse losing to them

one half of all LSU fans want to fire every LSU coach during any given season, whether they deserve it or not. It's just the way LSU fans are. If a coach doesn't win a championship every other year. half of LSU's fanbase knows that there are several better coaches out there that would give both nuts to be coach at LSU, no matter the sport. I thought everyone knew this.

Mark Richt was fired because his records had been slipping quite a bit since 2009. Although as a Miami fan I'm glad to have him.

Mark Richt was fired because Kirby Smart was going to South Carolina.........and would not have been available for a few years. His name has been mentioned so many times as the next man in line, you would have thought he was coaching on the UGA staff in a "coach in waiting" roll.
Richt was forced out to ensure they didn't miss out on Smart.

The national media will say it's because he can't beat Saban.
The reason most LSU fans are tired of him is because the program stagnated. The slightest bit of imagination on offense would have appeased most fans. However, LSU would fall into this yearly rut of
1)good play calling to start the year;
2) stagnant, unimaginative, and predictable play calling weeks 2-10;
3)after a few bad losses, they'd chuck it all over the yard ineffectively, as if to say "see!? this is why we don't ever pass;
4)a bowl game where they either play out of their minds or do the bare minimum to get by
