One thing we all know is coming- Saban will make sure the "Pick Play" is a point of emphasis going into 2017.

I agree with this... however, I'm not sure if you mean that he will hammer to the officials in Birmingham that it is bullshite for offenses to do it or that he will run it all the time on offense

I could see either one of those happening

he explained nothing.

why is it called sometimes and not others?

and, with the RPO, if it could be a running play can the receiver block?

It's funny how some people think this

and this

are similar to the blatant obvious blocking of this

and this

How can anyone watch these plays and think they are anywhere near similar in nature.
Pick plays happen at every level. They are only called when you are an obvious idiot about it.

Even if those picks were called, Bama probably still loses that game. Bama offense not being able to get first downs cost Bama the game during the 4th quarter, the defense was gassed after going all out in the 1st half. This season, Bama's offense regressed, and Clemson's offense did the opposite...

Anyways, no team can give a talented offense (Like Clemson has with Watson and those receivers) 99 plays within one game. Clemson is a great team, and there's no shame is losing to a great team.

Congrats Clemson
Solid team that earned that championship

Nope. On the first TD, the DB was in press coverage and engaged the WR right at the line of scrimmage.
