Auburn had terrible luck the year before, great luck last year - but they have terrific players.

I see two loses - which may still get them in the NCG.

We'll see . . .

Luck? This is so fricking comical. Auburn had one lucky game last year.

Typical homer responses. Nothing wrong with it though - you love your team.

People have a year's worth of film on Auburn. You really don't think that SEC defensive coordinators aren't going to figure out their offense with a YEAR'S worth of film? Please.

auburn "snuck up" on everyone last year and before you knew it they were 9-1...10-1, etc....
I think the only team we 'snuck up' on was TAMU. And even then, it was assumed correctly beforehand that it would be a shootout because both defenses were so gawdawful.

We didn't have to 'sneak up' on anyone after that. UGa and Bama had a season's worth of film to look at by the time we played them, and every other team we played between the Aggs and them was sucky.

Are you bama fans going to tell me that the mighty tide hasn't been lucky during the Saban era?

Because people will study film and figure Gus out

Because we were lucky last year and that don't happen twice in a row

Because Cam Newton in is in the NFL

Because Bobby Lowder is gone

Because Auburn cant have back to back good seasons

Becuase Nick Marshall is a DB playing QB

and last but certainly not least

Auburn always cheats and the NCAA is knocking at the door step

Hail Marys and 109 yard field goal returns don't just happen every year. They should still be good, though.

Fsu had a year of film and month to prepare and the best defense in college football and AU put up 30 plus, a LOT more than any other team did all year. Bama studied AU all year and had two weeks to prep and still got run over.

Anyway, AU will be better this year. The problem will be closing out the season at Uga and at bama. Two teams that will be a LOTbetter late in the year with their new qbs.

That said, if AU makes it in as one of the 4 in the playoffs, I think AU wins it. I don't think anyone in the country will be better than AU this year, but some like FSU will be as good and have a lot easier path to the playoffs.

I think it's just the opposite AU is getting a lot of love from the mags and espn. However , I just think , AU is hoping it's the system and not Tre Mason getting hot. 1800+ and 23 Tds , and 310+ carties( almost as much as all others combined) is a lot to replace, plus you lose you best def player.

And even with that , you won 4 games under a minute left, call it luck or devine intervention it sure doesn't happen that much.
