QB could be an issue but the talent is there. Don't forget we return 20 players who either started or played as much as the starters did, spot started, or at least played a significant number of plays showing no drop off, including both specialists, 7 on offense, and at least 11 on defense. This represents way more returning experience than last years team returned. I thought we were going to be hurting this year, but the return of Jon Allen, Tim Williams, Ryan Anderson, Eddie Jackson, Reuben Foater, and OJ Howard will prove huge, all of them were early entry candidates and they all came back.

Kirby was stale. Pruitt will bring new energy and his defenses have performed better than Kirby"s against teams that go spread with tempo.

Let me go slow for you, in modern football especially defense many packages are played, which results in about 18 to 20 guys who start or play significant minutes on defense. Alabama is returning 4 defensive lineman who started games for us last year, 5 linebackers who started in some packages last year, and 4 defensive backs who started in some packages last year.

20+ guys that not only saw the field, but excelled in the biggest moments of the SECG, Playoff Semi-final, and National Championship Game.

Allot of wishful thinking in this thread. The facts are Alabama has put together 6 number #1 recruiting classes in a row. The are loaded with 5 star talent all over their roster. This defensive line is loaded with great pass rushers. Linebacker group consists of at least 4 five star players. The secondary was made up of three freshmen last year. All return one year older. This Alabama team will be better than last years. Roll Tide!!!!

Ok. No one has recruited better than Alabama the last 5 years. Literally every team is less talented.

This thread is made every year with same results.

"New QB." SEC championship

"No RBs." Heisman finalist/Winner

"Tough schedule." National Championship

Come up with something else.

Talk shite about uniforms or the grass on the field isn't cut perfectly or something.

You can make up a bunch of stuff to talk shite about with Alabama. Football simply isn't one of them.

If the bet was lose 3 games in the regular season,
Or run the table,
I'd put my dimes on the table.
LSU has a much better chance of the 3losses.

Anytime you change personnel in a management setting (in this case football coaches) it can cause issues for the entire organization.

Smart provided a lot of continuity over the years. They had tons of other staff changes, but never lost Smart.

That kind of experience within a management setting doesn't get replaced right when a new guys walks in the door.

I consider that more of a threat to Alabama than any player losses, which have been fairly easy for them to move past each season since 2011.

Bama has a much better chance to go 12-0 than to go 9-3. I don't think people realize how many quaility player Bama returns. The loss of Reed, Robinson, and Ragland hurt ,but its more about the players that decided to stay.

Rueben Foster, Jonathan Allen, OJ Howard, Tim Williams, Ryan Anderson and Eddie Jackson all decided to return. All these players will make some sort of All SEC team

Bama has a perfect record for 6 years. They cannot and will not ever lose.
