Lattimore and it's not even up for debate.

Stop what? Stop suggesting that it might possibly be someone other than Todd "glass joints" Gurley?

Give me a second and I'll see. Yup, AU went further than Georgia or USC. Mason also carried his team WAY more than any of the UA backs.

Of the ones you listed, my vote goes to Ingram. He's looked on unfavorably because he hasn't been that great in the NFL, but his 2009 season was ridiculous.

I think Stevan Ridley's name should be in the mix too, but he's not the best.

I think the problem with this thread is that most people read the OP and translated it to "who is the best athlete that happened to play RB?"

Yep...we didn't discover who our best back was until the bowl game.

OH AND NICE "SECOND" USAGE...I called that when I posted this that someone would say that. It was you....nice. What was that thing that was recently posted about Auburn and a 2nd something?? Is that the 2nd you're looking for...I mean it's a version of "second" or "2nd" or some shite. 2nd......2nd....2nd.

Lattimore or Gurley.
Both are basically the same type of RB with the same set of skills. Powerful runners with some speed and very good hands out of the back field. Couldn't ask for any other skill sets to play RB. If you don't think Gurley should be in the top 3, I suggest you watch 2012 SEC Championship Game.

Lacy by far, grace, toughness, ballance, 360.

He's is the total package.

I would take Tre Mason over both.
