164 yards in the Iron Bowl, 303 and 4 TD's in the SEC Championship, and 195 in the Natty put Mason at #1. Case closed.

How did that last game turnout on your closed case?

As if it was his fault that they lost.

Just imagine if Gurley had been healthy last year and didn't split carries with Marshall in 12.

1. Lattimore when healthy...hands down
It's difficult to judge any Bama back I'm the last few years given their dominant offensive line but I will try
2. Tre Mason
3. Eddie Lacy
4. Mike Davis
5. Zac Stacy
6. Trent Richardson
7. Steven Ridley
8. Dexter McCluster
9. Ben Tate
10. Mark Ingram

I like Mark Ingram and thought he was a good back. But they missed that year. He was not deserving of the Heisman...so there's that. I root for him now but it's obvious that he may or may not deserve mention in the top 10, in retrospect.

Gurley may end up being the best of them all...but right now he is looking like a perpetually injured flash in the pan. If the list was about best potential, he would be top 2 IMO.

Oh, and put down the whiskey, pick up the bong, and relax.

Correction, I should have Hill on there...bumping Ingram off the top 10

We all saw quite a bit more of Lattimore than Gurley....and Lattimore had one big injury while Gurley was dinged up most of the time. But if you asked me who would be the top 3 rushers in 2014, Gurley would definitely be there...with Davis and maybe Collins
