With the lifestyle they lead, Mormons always lose IMO

BYU is one of those sneaky good teams.
They have all those older players that have been on Mormon missions, age wise they are more mature and developed as football players.
In Houston, I give LSU the edge.

Why would LSU schedule a game like this, BYU is a solid but not a P5. It doesn't really add to the resume, plus BYU uses every trick in the book. I would pray for LSU players knees if I was you.

Replace BYU with Notre Dame and you will see how asinine this statement is.

So BYU and Notre Dame are the same in your eyes because they technically not in a P5?

BYU is a well-known program. Acting like they aren't a quality opponent because they're independent is just plain stupid.

Replacing the winningest coach in LSU history with a coach that has gone 7-23 in SEC Play sure does have you confident.

The key to beating BYU is dealing with their tactics. A veteran team that's not bothered by the constant holds and leg-whips will physically beat BYU. If the less athletic 30 yr olds get in your head though, you're in trouble. LSU shouldn't struggle with BYU

BYU is considered a major team (equiv. to power 5), not a mid-major.

LSU didn't schedule the game. The AdvoCare Texas Kickoff Classic scheduled the game. LSU agreed to play them in the ATKC.
