Arkansas's schedule is absolutely brutal... I'm not convinced which team will actually be better, but it wouldn't surprise me if Auburn had the better record, even if Arkansas wins the head to head matchup.

KF has been playing in Gus' offense since the 7th grade, he was recruited by Gus, he is Gus' boy.
KF is a bust and would have sucked no matter where he went. Plus Gus only coached him for his FR season. The number of QBs Gus turned around or made better proves he can coach QBs.

You are saying Chizik and co coached them to all suck, that would include Gus for 3 years.
The HC has final say and Auburn only one bad year and it was when Gus was gone. But that was just a coincidence.

Maybe it was Ted Roof, Chizik didn't do shite without him either.
Every coach under Chizik did better when they were on teams he wasn't coaching. Roof was one of those and that just proves again Chizik was making things worse.

We have a 4* at QB and RB, a 5* backup RB, two 4* on the OL plus an all-american C, and signed a top 3 TE. We are inexperienced yes but we aren't full of 2* players either.

I think we win head to head since it's at home but both teams could end up with similar records. I just don't buy that they will all of a sudden jump to 8 or 9 wins because of Gus, the players last year didn't win an SEC game...that's not all on coaching

A number?

Like who?

More like Auburn only had one good year and that was when Chizik was the coach.

But he's said that the offense is going to be extremely balanced

Bert's play selection at Wisconsin:

2006 - 326 passes/527 rushes 38%/62%
2007 - 345 passes/555 rushes 38%/62%
2008 - 331 passes/544 rushes 38%/62%
2009 - 340 passes/571 rushes 37%/63%
2010 - 276 passes/567 rushes 33%/67%
2011 - 324 passes/597 rushes 35%/65%
2012 - 286 passes/619 rushes 32%/68%

But yes, he's gonna completely overhaul his style.

You obviously don't have a clue about Chizik so you can stop commenting on him. 8 wins without Gus and 30 with him but its Gus that sucks not Chizik.

No one can win at Iowa State.

Bert talks about balance in terms of yardage, not play calling.

Yeah I'm sure your analysis is more trustworthy than what Bielema's actually said

There's no reason to argue with Arkansas posters. Just wait until the season when they lose hope

I used stats you can look up. You're defending a guy's honesty that just months ago was talking about how the SEC had no integrity.

Oh, I said that??? Surprise...Just kidding!

Bet on what? Regardless, I want to see who's named starter at QB first

You would be right if it wasn't for that pesky little thing Bert said about not running the same offense he did at Wisky

What's gonna be interesting to me is how Arkansas balance's Beilema's run-heavy style with Chainey's pass-heavy style... neither one seems comfortable with the other's game, but we'll see how it plays out. Tennessee would abandon the run very quickly, and weren't committed to it at all. Chainey was also stripped of his QB-coaching duties this past season, I believe.
