Yes, because Auburn is on the rise and will build upon the success of last season.

Well there's really nowhere to go but up for them.

Auburn because they're Auburn. If you don't understand that it's because you're not Auburn.

This coming from a fan of a team that lives in the bottom of the SEC but is going to sudden rise because their fans believe. Everyone in country is predicting them to stay at the bottom but their fans. Even with the great Bert.

Plug in a half way decent QB last season and we go to a bowl.

Now I think we have one in Marshall. Add that to running a offense that batter fits out players. And what hopefully is an improved defense. 4th isn't out of the question. I don't really see Arkansas getting to 4th this season.

H2h Auburn is way more talented. Chizik isn't there anymore to coach the team down.

Right.

You didn't finish 3-9 (0-8) or anything, just a few bad plays from the QB position from making a bowl.

Yeah it's not like they had one of the worst defenses in the league or anything

I seriously doubt Auburn beats Arkansas this season H2H but they will probably end up with the same or better record. To those saying that AU is more talented than Arkansas just rewatch last years game. Auburn was outmatched at nearly every position. John L ran up the score on them at their place. Chizik wasn't that bad so AU will have to develope so,e talent before they move out of the cellar.

Just imagine what they have been like if they didn't have two highly respected DCs on staff.

But now they have a guy who knows where Auburn is coming from, plus some, losing games as DC.

Scouting and the number players on the roster that the other top coaches wanted. Chizik's record without Gus shows he sucks at coaching. Smith coached his team to a SEC win. Chizik couldn't without Gus.

And who says Gus is good at developing players? He's had one entire year as a college head coach

Bret's proven he can develop players on a consistent basis
