I will take the job for $3,000,027.94 on a two year contract with a full salary buyout in the event they grow tired of my "never show up for work" attitude.

I thought Henry Winkler did a fine job in Waterboy but I'm not sure if he's ever coached girl's basketball. Is that gonna be a deal breaker?

I agree that Chaney is beyond awful but what makes you think Smart would ever hire a spread OC? That goes against what he's been groomed to do. I would envision him going the pro route like Saban instead.

What they are predicting locally is a Sept./Oct. COI hearing with a handing down of penalties within 6 weeks. This puts the penalties being known in December, possibly before the new early signing period. Ole Miss has the right to appeal after that, I'm not sure of that timetable.

Freeze is probably going to be fired within the next week. OM should try and get these penalties over asap and probably will push that after what's about to happen in the next few days. New coach and new beginning. Fresh start rebuilding.

Keep hearing that week after week and it doesn't happen. Also keep seeing fans point to "rumor that's bad", with no specifics. Makes it look like wishful thinking.
I kinda hope Freeze survives all this mess so Bama can face him a few more times and we can watch Freeze coach a more typical OM team.
