I wouldn't put him on the physical level of Laron "Dirty Thirty" Landry ... but Reid was as physical as any other safety while he played in the SEC.

He laid the wood on Trent Richardson a number of times...
...they had an interview with Trent where he stated that the LSU D (in particular the safeties) were the hardest hitters he's faced in his career

I know he's "physical." He's a big aggressive guy. I just don't remember him lowering the boom much at all in college. Barron would be a good example of someone who lived to frick people up. Reid might be a better safety, I don't really know. But he absolutely destroyed people when he hit em. He's already had a few shocking tackles in the NFL.

Best is probably Julio, next I'd say Andre Brown.

That summary kinda hams it up...

Either way, his physical skill set and style of play are a perfect match for the 49ers and he will thrive there.

For the record, I think Julio might be the best Bama has to offer in the NFL right now...but there are many more right on his level which is very impressive.

I mean I know that the pro-bowl is kind of becoming a joke, but last year there was only 1 former Bama player on the first team. (LSU had 4)

It's already obvious he's gonna kick arse there. How did MC do last night? I saw the Giants picking on him a little bit early but I fell asleep. I like him but dot think he'll live up to his hype. Kinda like Dee.

It continued to happen most of the night...

...he played with a hurt knee (which kept him out of the preseason) and you could tell he was sluggish and rusty.

In the NFL, a CB is only as good as his d-line and the pressure they can generate.

The jury is still out but like Dee...he's a starter (which say something)

He's a starter because they lost Revis and he was the 9th pick. It wouldn't shock me if he had a great career but if I had to put money on it I'd bet against it.

I forgot MC didn't play in the preseason. That's gotta be tough.

Cb is also the second hardest position in the nfl( behind qb) to come in as a rookie and shine. You rarely see rookie cbs that are great.
