Nothing like a thread asking who the best Alabama player in the NFL is to get the LSU fans popping in to let us know who the worst player is.

Some of you have to be some seriously miserable motherfrickers.

I agree with that. I don't think RB's should go in the first round unless they are gangbusters. Ingram struggled a bit his last year at Alabama, and that was a red flag, but I definitely think that his struggles in New Orleans are exacerbated by the type of offense the Saints run. The Saints are better finding diamonds in the rough for their RB needs.

That said, I made the argument about the RB's at LSU simply because it seems that a lot of LSU fans find satisfaction in the fact that they perceive Alabama to be an underperforming entity in the NFL. That may be the case, but I think that if you are going to criticize that, it's also fair to criticize LSU for not developing their players to their potential in college. Russell Shepard is a good example of this, and I think that we can all agree that if LSU had a better offense, Randle would have been a much higher pick. With the talent LSU gets, they should have higher draft stock.

Damn, there's some mad Saints fans in here.

I don't watch the NFL, but the only player I really hear about is Julio, so i'll go with him.

So many excuses as to why y'all think Ingram doesn't suck.

Good point. The goal of the college football program is to win championships. If the player continues that success in the NFL all the better, but not what put's trophies in the case.

Isn't there really only one? I only see people say he's in the wrong type of offense.

My main issue is with that having, literally, nothing to do with what the OP was about aside from the "Alabama" part.

How is he in the wrong type of offense? He lines up behind fullback and either trips and busts his arse, gets two yards, or loses yards. He's fricking garbage. He had a hole yesterday and got blown the frick up by the safety.

Pierre Thomas sure doesn't seem to have problems running in that 'offense'.
