Auburn isn't consistent, they have a track record. Has Malzahn ever been a College Head Coach for consecutive years? No. He moves on before other teams adjust to the gimmick. I'm betting Bert and Arkansas beats them their first game.

Solid analysis

Chizik had some hellavu recruiting classes and Auburn is extremely talented, so I don't think they are overrated.

Will be interesting to see how Gus adapts his offense this year knowing every team has spent a good amount of time studying last years film. I expect that they will try to develope a more complete passing game similar to when Cam was there.

There offense has a scheme that puts a lot of pressure on the dline. It takes a very cerebral approach to combat this offense for the dline and LB'S unless they can manhandle the oline. If they can pass more successfully watch out.

Did I mention that I think Auburn is overrated?

Gus is the next Chizik.

I just don't get all the hype. They could have easily been a 4 loss team last year. LSU was a good, not great, team last year and handled them with relative ease. Sorry Aubs, not trying flame just stating facts.

Watch other games besides LSU games and you may be a bit more informed in regard to your opinions. LSU game was a fluke last year, everyone except LSU fans know that.

Absolutely no basis for that comparison other than both being the Auburn head coach.

You beating LSU would have been a fluke. Like previous posters have shown, we have owned you for the past 8 years.

If this is the metric for meaning a team is overrated I guess you should give back your last two national title trophies. You had 3 much, much worse losses in those two seasons.

Also, if you can't see the difference between mid September Auburn and late November AU you aren't smart enough to be operating a keyboard.

AU isn't overrated but our schedule will probably preclude us from having the same type of success we had last year.

Why do I get sucked into reading page after page of these kinds of threads? It's like arguing with a bunch of retarded 12 yr olds.

False, mi amigo. Auburn was the better team last year, they just had a down game. Past 8 years mean nothing.

It means a hell of a lot to me as an LSU fan. It means we have beaten your arse 7 out of 8 years. Auburn is supposed to be a competitive game for LSU like Bama always is. The score last year should have been worse. Frankly, Auburn, I'm just disappointed.

There are ton's of reasons to see an almost duplicate scenario burner. You just refuse to see it.

Nothing about 2014 Auburn points towards a program having sustained success in the SEC. Nothing really points to them having anymore than a .500 SEC record actually.

Let the roller-coaster known as burner football do the talking, and just watch history repeat itself.
