Here is who has the most wins in the last ten seasons.

1 Boise State 0.87692 114 16 0 130
2 Oklahoma 0.80741 109 26 0 135
3 Texas 0.82171 106 23 0 129
4 Southern Cal 0.81395 105 24 0 129
5 Louisiana State 0.77863 102 29 0 131

Texas and LSU have BCS titles during that time frame. LSU has two, UT has one. USC has an AP title. BSU and OU have no titles.

The question was who was the most dominant, not who has won the most.

You can only be dominant against the team you are playing against.

BSU has been the most dominant because they have beaten the most teams and has the highest win %.

Now, of course they dont play anyone and if they had others schedules they would not be as good but...they have been dominant against who they have played.

LSU has been more impressive winning more titles and winning against steeper competition...of course they have better players, more money, better facilities, and a larger footrpint for recruiting.

LSU has been more impressive and brought home more hardware but BSU has been more dominant.

Yeah, but you have to try to compare apples to apples...If USC/Texas/OU/LSU had played Boise's schedule over that period, I'm fairly certain all four would have ended with a higher win% than Boise.

all of that doesn't prove they would have beaten 2004 Auburn, so we are back to your biased opinion.

so LSU fans wont give AU any credit for an undefeated 2004 season, b/c they didn't play in the BCS game

They dont give USC credit b/c they cheated in that game

They dont give OU any credit b/c they got destroyed in the game that they claim never existed

2004 just didn't exist I guess and it seems none of those 3 teams were as dominant as the 2 loss LSU squad that lost to UK and Arkansas and backed into a BCS title

I am. LSU only lost 29 games in 10 years...amazing They had to play in teh SEC but got to play with 5 star players everywhere.

BSU on the otherhand only lost 16 game. They played crap teams but won with 2 and 3 star players.

I think it is very much apples to apples since both teams won against opposition using similiar calibar players.

huh? Auburn has a great program, but Auburn isn't even in this discussion, so why is their 2004 season even being brought up?

Uhhh, yeah. Lol...that's how it works. That's a pretty resonable position.

OU doesn't get any credit because they got beat down by TWO of the teams vying for this label.

You seem to be really upset about LSU's 2007 title....

My two cents:

It's obviously LSU or the Gators. I think LSU was good more consistently than UF (Zook era + these past 2 seasons), but UF at it's best was greater than LSU at it's height. (I think '03 LSU marginally better than '06 UF, but '08 Gators better by a substantial margin than '07 LSU)So, as much as I hate to give them credit, I'd say UF by a razor over LSU.

be careful....your flame is starting to show. But if you can point out where the 2004 BCS trophy is i'll be happy to give that team credit....i already know where the '07 one is.

and btw....we're talking about 12 years, not 2

decades are 10 years.

well they went 14-0... something LSU hasn't done since the 50s. Then they did it again last year. They lost ZERO SEC games in both of those seasons, again something LSU hasn't done since the 50s

Not in 2004 they didn't... or in 2000. Did LSU ever lose to Florida during the last decade? Did they lose to Auburn during the last decade? Several time to both... so does that somehow disqualify LSU from this discussion?

I did say in the OP 2000-Present

which is technically 1 year more than a decade

Pretty sure its still in USCs trophy case

I dont remember them sending that one back, they sent back the Heisman but I dont think they had to return the BCS trophy... could be wrong about that though

then change your title to "since the turn of the century"

The added year doesnt change my data enough to change my opinion.

It only adds wins to LSU and VT and give OU a title.
