Didn't we have 6 first round picks after the 2006 season?

I enjoyed combining the two.

LSU ...only because Florida lost 5 games three years in a row during the Zook era.

nah usc won no titles considering no on plays for the ap title, we all play for the bcs title.

also losing season should automatically kill their chances.

Its funny how LSU fans like to pretend they didn't split the '03 NC with USC

It's not pretend, it's fact. Does USC have a Crystal Football for the 03 season?

True, but if we are starting in 2000 the decade cut off would be 2009, so AU's last championship wouldn't be in discussion.

It's a subjective question....

Is dominance winning it all multiple times...or is dominance based purely on record?

If you're basing it on record, though, if one obviously is by looking at undefeated seasons, then that makes another good case for LSU if you look at their overall record over the decade.

Speaking of dominance, how about those teams that finished behind LSU that year (which by the way include every team discussed in this thread)...what does that say about them and their dominance?

Kentucky & Arkansas can claim they were better than LSU that year

honestly either way you look at it LSU and UF are clearly the only correct answers. any other answer and the person deserves to be bitch slapped for being a dumb bitch.

Doesn't belong on this list.

It's b/t USC and Florida but the most dominant was USC.

Well, the OP says the last decade and 2000 to present, so I am not sure which he is wanting to discuss? Frankly I don't care. AU will still be my favorite team even if it doesn't win this thread.

However for the sake of this thread, which is more "dominant"...winning a title even though you had two losses or going undefeated?
lets ask Boise

if you had a losing record in that time frame you should automatically be eliminated

from the OP

quote:

From 2000-Present

LSU has the most wins of any SEC team and best bowl resume in the country.

In the OP I said from 2000-Present

technically its 11 years, but close enough

They were equal to LSU in regulation, brah. OT doesn't count.

LSU beat duke in basketball the last time they played them, when they had reddick.
Even though that was in the postseason and LSU made the final four, I wouldn't claim that LSU had the better team that year, just the better team on that day.
