USC's run of NFL'ers and wins is impressive. Tarnished by controversy and forfeiting titles and Heismans though.

LSU has better record than UF and same amount of titles. So I guess I say LSU.

USC did not win a title in 2004.

I'll give them 2003 AP, but not 2004.

USC has 1.5 National Titles in that time period (unless you want to not count the '04 title with Reggie Bush). Which is the exact same as LSU. Its funny how LSU fans like to pretend they didn't split the '03 NC with USC.

Ahh. So you weren't really curious. You just wanted to flame LSU. Cool.

No, LSU has 2 BCS National Championships

USC won 1 BCS national Championship and 1 Ap National Championship

If you're talking 2000(or 2001)-Present, its LSU easily. If you talk about just the 2000-2009, it was Florida by a small portion.

Then who did win the NC in 2004?

Auburn?

I personally dont think they should get a claim bc of the obvious, they didn't play in the main game. You either have it all or dont. None of this sharing stuff. But also, when Auburn went undefeated they didn't get a share so why should we share it with them?

They still lost. And since were doing the decade, they haven't been anything as of the past few years because they broke the rules. So, no, USC doesn't not even belong in the discussion.

Officially, no one won the title in 2004.

If the 2007 lsu team hadn't been beaten by 2 scrubs, it would be lsu. That lsu team was the worst champ in the bcs era.

As it stands, i would say uf or usc.

Folks, this is ultimately what he wanted to get to, and is why he made the thread.

Move along. Don't feed the troll.

OU, Auburn and Ohio State don't belong anywhere near that list.

USC had their one title stripped.

It's LSU or Florida.

Auburn has done just as much as LSU or Florida has in the last 10 years.

Except go to a bowl game every year?
Except win 100+ games?
Except win win as many SEC Championships as LSU?

Oh, and the main one. Be #1 at the end of the year twice

USC, OU and Texas won more games. I would go with either one of those. I don't think the titles are the end all be all factor. That's like saying the Braves weren't the team of the 90's because they only got one.
