If an upper echelon coach is someone who wins around 80% of their games, the only time I know of that 3 were hired in succession was Scott, Wade and Thomas for UA in the 20's and 30's. So I suspect a drop for LSU after Saban/Miles....based on historical precedent anyways.

Negatiger.

J/k. That is very true, and we have talked of it before. Add to that, it would be 4 hires in a row without a failure for LSU HC.

Why 14 years? It's not because we won three straight before then right? I love arbitrary time periods.

102 total meetings since 1894. Series is 58-40-4. Here is a hint. The team with 58 wins is not Ole Miss. Case closed.

Whoever replaces Saban couldn't possibly be able to recruit Louisiana as well as Saban has with his connections to Louisiana High School Coaches. The only way that could happen is if Miles took the Alabama job when Saban left.
