Arky bests Florida to 700. But Florida will beat Arky and Aggy to 800.

Florida is like New money. They were basically like Mississippi schools until after the 80s. Their first SEC championship wasn't until 1991, if that puts things in perspective.

That is why we call it the Big 6!

Interestingly Michigan falls all the way to 10th nationally since 1906. Over 150 wins came prior to this. Wow.

How many of the vacated ones do you count? I know theres got to be a least a few, we all know how Bama likes to count things they didn't earn.

I expected that question sooner. It is 881 without vacated and forfeited wins. So the 850 is the total recognized by the NCAA.

That, my fellow Gator, is a great point!

Is it? Those first dozen or so seasons were only 1-4 games a year. Don't get me wrong, with those seasons UF would likely already be above 700... but lets not act like there was some 100-game advantage.

And the National Championship in 1984, according to some publications, I have seen the trophy at Benn Hill.
Hell, we should count them both, Bama would.
9 SEC championships puts us ahead of Auburn and 4 national Championship moves us way up the list.

I swear. One faulty claim in 1941, and it becomes "claim it like Alabama does". Never mind Alabama doesn't claim 1945 or 1966, when they probably should.

If Arky doesn't hit it this year, Bert needs to be fired.

Not that it would make a big difference, but I think it is actually 106 or 107 seasons, we didn't field a team or two during the World Wars while others did.

I see both teams with 8 wins this year, so Arkansas is the answer.

Most programs didn't field a team during World War I or World War II. For instance, Alabama didn't have a team in 1918 or 1943. The height of the mobilization in both wars. They also didn't have a team in 1898 because of the mobilization for the Spanish American War.
