No because it's idiotic. In the first half of the time period stated by the OP Bama was in the shitter.

hey...I choose to let a SEC Title separate the two when most all else are equal (4 titles to 3). You prefer to let a heisman by an individual separate them....makes sense. Everything else is the same except that LSU has finished higher more times in the final rankings. I can definitely understand you not wanting to use SEC Titles as a tie breaker during that period of time....LOL

Really I look at who had true championship teams. LSU split one title and we are all familiar with what 07 came with. Bama and Florida put teams together that were clearly championship caliber teams. Auburn was a 1 hit wonder but clearly put a better team in the field than anyin the history of LSU. Bama and Florida teams would play for titles every season the 07 and 03 LSU teams would challenge for 3rd in the west every year.

You benefitted from being the best team in 07

And? Sorry for being the best..

thus backdooring a NC off it.

Happens damn near every year.. Happened to Bama this year.

Florida is clearly ahead in that time frame

In football, no they are not. They are neck and neck. Arkansas is nowhere to be found

and I would still rather be Bama or Auburn

Of course you would, you are an arkansas fan in Shreveport. Im sure your distaste for LSU is mighty strong.

BTW, this is a discussion for teams tat have an argument for best in the SEC since 2000. Why all the pigs?

Helpful hint going forward that relates to more than this board...

My motivations doesn't weaken the argument

Yeah, it does.

Alright, back to football. What is interesting is that neither of the best teams during this arbitrary timeframe have recorded an undefeated season.

I can talk very objectively about it. I honestly don't hate arkansas. Here is objective:

During time-period mentioned:

LSU 4 SEC Titles
LSU 2 NC's
LSU 4 BCS Bowl Wins
LSU 8 Bowl Wins

Ark 0 SEC Titles
Ark 0 NC's
Ark 0 BCS Bowl Win
Ark <8 Bowl wins...by far.

That's pretty objective.

No it really doesn't, trying to discredit my motivation as opposed to the actual argument (as you've once again done) is just proving that you don't feel you have a strong enough rebuttal argument.

In fairness what makes 1999 worse than 2000?

You totally missed the point of my comment. Best of luck to you on the exam, and I hope that the learning curve of the actual practice isn't steep.

Not sure what you're getting at. Ican see why 2000 is the cutoff point. Its a round number.. It represents the current century. It is a prety large sample size, being it is the last 11 years.
