Oh I see...team accomplishments don't mean as much as individual accomplishments....makes since for a program. Again, while the two teams have the same number of NC's, LSU has more SEC Titles, more bowl wins, more top 5's and more top 10's. I believe those make the difference. I know it's hard for a bama fan to admit LSU is better. I get it.

Guess you missed that part. A class winning 48 (or so) games in their time on campus and other shite comes into play as well.
I know that this is upsetting for LSU fans to hear, but UF and LSU have been neck and neck for the top of the SEC during the arbitary time frame set forth by the OP. In my opinion, again my opinion, UF is ahead. If ya don't like it, go suck on a crawfish head or stuff some casings with boudain. (NTTIAWWT)

It's not upsetting and I don't disagree that it's very close. I just don't think Heismans have any place here.

Actually thats pretty awesome to hear. The thing is, most of the SEC fans on here hate LSU because of fans likes this starting the threads like this..

You benefitted from being the best team in 07, thus backdooring a NC off it. Florida is clearly ahead in that time frame and I would still rather be Bama or Auburn considering they have had more recent success.

no Heismans but we have many more awards (Belitnikoff, Nagurski, Thorpe) than probably any other school in the SEC in that time line if we want to start throwing all sorts of shite in...

My motivations doesn't weaken the argument that an extremely subjective award for "best player" which rarely if ever actually goes to the best player has no place in a discussion about who the best program has been over a certain period of time.
All you're saying is that LSU hasn't had the sexy QB or RB that made a memorable play or two against the right opponent. Oh darn.
