It stings because it's a missing ring. It would have been just as bad (and actually worse in a certain sense) had it been to Okie State.
We win the Title this year and it's all good.

Let's look at the regular season.
2008-LSU lost to Alabama in Overtime. 27-21. LSU beat Auburn 26-21.
2009-LSU lost to Alabama at Alabama 24-15 with a controversial game changing call. LSU beat Auburn 31-10.
2010-LSU beat Alabama 24-21. LSU lost to Auburn 24-17.
2011-LSU beat Alabama 9-6 in Overtime. LSU beat Auburn 45-10.
So each game was winnable with a horrible QB. Each game was within 1 possession except the one controversial game.
Looks like we sure were dominated by teams that "no LSU team in their history could beat."
