I could see a bunch of UT fans wanting Jones fired if he has a losing season

I'd say most Tennessee fans were willing to give Derek Dooley more time after going 5-7 in his second season, and he literally had no positive attributes as a coach. Tennessee fans value stability over winning.

Honest question.....

What do you rantards think Dan Mullen's expectations should be at Mississippi State?

He inherited a team that had one, ONE winning season in a decade and has taken them to 3 straight bowl games and winning 24 games in that time span.

Also during that span Auburn, Bama, Arkansas and LSU (all SEC west opponents) have made BCS games with three of them playing for a national title and two of them winning it. Also new member Texas A&M only went 11-2 last season and killed Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl.

As a Mississippi State fan I am very happy with where our program currently is under Dan Mullen. You rantards dont understand just how bad things were under Croom.

Only 6 SEC teams have played in bowl games in each of the last 3 seasons:

Bama
LSU
Florida
Georgia
South Carolina
MISSISSIPPI STATE

To say Mullen is on the hot seat makes you a dumbass

I wouldn't consider him on the hot seat. However, some fans will become uneasy if he misses a bowl game in year 5 and OM continues to improve.

No doubt. Ole Miss is going to be better this year than last- that's a given.

But people are underestimating Mullen. His commitment to redshirting almost all of our classes will begin to show this season. We most likely arent going to miss out on bowl game.

Our defensive front 7 will be vastly improved
We return all 5 starters on the OL

That's where it all starts

It's Pinkel by a mile. He needs to prove he can win in the SEC.
