I like State fans till the cow bells begin. The SEC taught 0le Miss how to lose since 1963 and they seem to have forgotten in 2 years.

Because OM people have a feel of entitlement for no reason whatsoever. At least MSU seems like the tard kid that is just happy to be invited to the house party.

What's funny here is an Alabama person acting like they're different from a Mississippi person. Basically the same state. Or these Louisiana people. There ain't nothing more fricked up than a native born Louisiana resident. Their knuckles still drag the groundand they can't find hats large enough to fit their forehead. And wtf Arkansas? Yall never even see what a pretty girl looks like til you visit another state. There's not a state in the USA with fuglier women.

while being from the same towns there is a difference in state / OM fans at the most base level. I have OM friends and folks I think really highly of but we're just different.
could go into detail but would be judging a group based on how some people (albeit the majority imo) act.

eta: pretty much this. there are exceptions but still

There's just this mutual sense of self worth amongst Ole Miss students/grads that they are just inherently "better" than MSU people. It would be different if it were just classic rival smack talk noise, but the majority of Ole Miss fans actually feel they are better.

When I was a kid growing up we were neighbors with a family of OM fans. They had 4 children around our age. As I got older I realized how much my parents despised them. Thinking back, I also remember their children always thinking they were better than other kids.

Man I guess that guy on Twitter was wrong on why you hate Ole Miss then....know what? I don't believe you. I think the Twitter story is so much better especially since you went to a certain HS all because you probably couldn't compete at the public school.

State fans know their place. Ole Miss fans like to think their program is something more than it really is.

Give me MSU fans all day and every day.

Ole miss fans generally create the best threads of any fanbase on here except maybe UF. MSU fans create threads about how they wish they were Ole Miss, Alabama fans create threads where they gloat abou Saban and their 19 national titles (one of which occurred when they were #20 in the AP Poll) and LSU fans are endlessly creating threads about how they will never get over Sansn's departure. The threads Tennessee fans create show stupid hope in Butch Jones and an unwillingness to admit they've sucked since Fulmer's later years and UGA fans don't seem to have much of a presence on this site. Arkansas fans' threads aren't awful but they usually are pretty boring threads. UF and Ole Miss fans create the best threads.

That is actually very true. Memphis is arguably one of the top city in America for bonds. Crazy when I first learned it as well but it is real.

Girls: Ole Miss and it's not close
Sports fans: Probably State, though I've known some very irritating state fans, but on the whole probably still State
On this site: State and it's not remotely close...

State. When MSU came to T-Town in 2014 ranked #1, their fans were very nice and humble. They didn't brag or argue with our fans. I didn't see any problems out of their fans. Then I go to the Ole Miss game last year, and that was a completely different story. They were rude and obnoxious all around.

Clearly you are too young to remember the "We Believe" year. They trolled you guys pretty hard. Although, it is probably harder for you to deal with fans when they have the upper hand (a victory).
