I think it's funny that those who cry race the most come up with these claims that racial slurs against whites are not the same thing, and that whites shouldn't be offended, etc. they're virtually making an unconscious statement that white people are inherently better, and different rules apply to them.
None of them will admit it, but that is absolutely the case, and continuing such a stance does nothing but increase the disparity.

You're right, but the term "reverse racism" is a fallacy in itself. Like the only reason the word was invented was because of white against black. Americans are incredibly myopic.

It's not the same because systemic racism has yet to impact straight white males on any level that comes close to others. SWMs make more money, control government, and all the gears of power. SWMs aren't constantly harassed (with a few exceptions). That's just not true for others.
And FTR, cracker is a proper ethnic group within GA and FL. When it is used as a slur I've yet to meet a soul that isn't a diehard racist who doesn't laugh their arse off when called a cracker or honky. Words have power when you're powerless (or in high school) but when you have power they rarely mean shite.
That's not to say minorities can't discriminate or be racists - they can and DO, especially when someone wanders out of their neighborhood or lives in a neighborhood dominated by others (tho' that could be said for others too) - but on the whole it's just not the same.
Finally, there's no such thing as reverse racism. If a black man acts racist towards a white man it's racism pure and simple. Nothing reverse about it.

Racism, which it is by definition. JFC, every race in history has been "racist" towards another. It does not only mean whitey hates blacks. Why is this so hard to understand?

I get what you are saying but the minimization of the racism by the minority to the majority is where I was implying reverse racism. I wouldn't say that necessarily is being the same as racist.

I agree and understand, when you hear "racist" you automatically think "whitey against black" in today's society. I'm saying that is incorrect, racism is racism no matter the color. There's no way that perception is gonna change though, which is something the internet crusaders need to accept.

Who is them? 1. You're making the assumption it's all non-white straight conservatives - could be true but could be false. With the internet there's no way of knowing. 2. the latter part? Holy frickshit batman. White folks are inherently better? On what grounds. Different rules apply? Not really - when it come to the individual a hate crime/racist comments and so on are all the same. When it comes to generalities, when we base things on the history of groups, they're not the same at all.

I agree, racism has been around since the dawn of time and I don't think it ever will change. I do however feel that tolerance can be accomplished

I am in fact mostly referencing straight white males making these claims. They are the ones driven by white guilt to give different rules for minorities to appear to give them a more equal position. But in reality it is just giving them more excuses to use.
We are not in much better shape emotionally than we were in the past in this country, just in the opposite direction. Blacks are more openly resentful to whites now than they have ever been, and I think it's largely because they realize they oftentimes have a lot to gain by doing so, because white guilt apologists have opened avenues for constant racism cries to be met with compensation.
Our race relations are in no way improving, they are just shifting.

To hell with that. There is plenty of stuff in this world that's perfectly fine for people to do that I don't have to jump and down and praise and pretend like I'm ok with.
