The day I heard Missouri was coming to the league I thought "Well Josey was from Missouri and he's the biggest badass in the history of fictional America. Works for me"

I had a great great great hell I forget how many greats grandad on my dad's side who was one of the various real life people Josey was drawn from. He lived on a hill in western Missouri and his job was to serve as the town lookout to let the townspeople below know when Jayhawkers were riding in from the west to come pillage and burn.

Sucks for Josey my great grandad wasn't around to provide services for him.

Sucks that I have to root for Mizzou, but anything is better than Georgia winning the East.

7. Providing the necessary St. Louis, and Kansas City t.v. markets to generate more revenue for the conference, while also creating the SEC network

#1 Has not happened, yet, as much as Mizzou fans would enjoy. Much work still to be done with two more SEC teams hungry for wins to make bowl games.

I believe the correct answer is July 1, 2012.

1. Two SEC title games in three seasons to go along with two SEC East divisional championships

Doesn't hurt. It would mean more if the east wasn't so putrid.

2. 2012 Big 12 Championship basketball game, 2012 Border War game @ Arrowhead, 2012 bowl game vs. North Carolina, or 2014 cotton Bowl o

Probably hurts more than helps.

3. November 7, 2011

Kind of an embarrassment for the conference as a whole, to be honest. Just like when they wanted to expand and get Florida State and Texas and instead got Arkansas and South Carolina.

4. Role Reversal: Becoming a national powerhouse in football, and issuing a non-sanctioned NCAA death penalty to our basketball program with the Frank Haith hiring to conform with the rest of the SEC.

so true

5. Upgrading our high school stadium

definitely helped. Anyone who doesn't respect this kind of forward thinking in a master plan is a fool. LINK

6. something not already listed

Nope, nothing I can think of...

I have never seen nor met a girl who attends or did attend Mizzou (outside of their marching band) that wasn't at least an OT 7.5
