Moral Victories

I never said i was proud of them. Hell I was pissed we didn't get that TD vs LSU.

Ole Miss's signature win this year is Arkansas, so quit acting like they are for sure going to beat state. The bottom line is it will be a good game. State has played a hell of a schedule and been in every game except auburn which was at the beginning of the season. It is a rivalry no matter what people say. Ole Miss is just trying to bring BACK the LSU rivalry to make themselves seem more relevant, and after this year ends in failure for them(a shitty bowl or no bowl) they will be headed downhill starting next year. State is going in the opposite direction(up) and Ole Miss still does not have the right coach in there. No matter what Ole Miss fans say, a loss this year would kill them. They, for some reason, are trying to pretend like the egg bowl is not a concern, but they are starting to wake up now. This years game will be fun. We need to get it back like the late 90's where the game meant enough to be put on espn with the gameday crew around Thanksgiving.

Well explain why Ole Miss took it upon themselves to create the "MAGNOLIA" trophy to give to the winner of the Ole Miss/LSU game.

Is a fricking joke IMO.
LSU doesnt need a "Magnolia" trophy to prove anything, they have 2 crystal balls for winning National Championships.

I was told by a friend of mine who graduated at Ole Miss, that the Ole Miss Student Body Pres came up with this idea and LSU agreed to it.
