Did you people see LSU's passing offense before Cameron? I'm not saying this guy is Don Coryell but as an LSU fan this has been a huge upgrade. You have to understand the emotional scars one has watching Jordan Jefferson play QB for your team has on a fan base, it will take years to recover from those aerial assaults.

. If assumptions were always accurate, then you would have listed 2010 as a terrible year for Lee against Bama as well

I didn't list Lee for 2010 because he came in and threw to a wide open Randle. He was 4/7 for 67 yards, and 47 came on the one wide open pass. Lee had never been good against Bama.

I didn't use game manager as a slight either, but he was just that. He didnt make mistakes, and the only game I remember him being the reason we won was against MSU. I give him props for that, but for people to believe that him playing against UGA or Bama would have made any difference, are just wishful thinking. JJ played just as careful and did just the same as Lee did. The offense just had no success early on with UGA, and at all with Bama.

Yup. 4 years of JJ/J Lee. It's amazing we managed to average 10 wins/year with those two.

As for Lane Kiffin, I have no clue how he will be, but I would rather have him with Saban in control. We have a 5star wr commit, thanks to Kiffin. The last one of those was Julio and that worked out great. We also just landed a badass dual threat qb. So Kiffin is already doing great things in ttown in recruiting

Funny, our OC just did the exact same thing, plus LF to boot

All signs are pointing toward Harris being the starter for the Wisky game I have my doubts about that. My estimation is that Jennings starts Wisconsin and has a short leash.

Agreed. Harris was slightly better in the spring and looks to have more upside but the slight experience edge of Jennings could have him starting unless Harris has a sensational August camp. Word in BR from the player workouts is that the receivers say it's too close to call as far as their skill sets. Harris is a better over-all athlete but the arms are a dead heat. Both have above-average running skills. It's a near certainty at this point that both will see meaningful snaps in the first game. It would be a shock if LSU doesn't run the ball between 40 and 50 times against the Badgers.

what is your boy Les' record vs the Tide?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What's your boy's record against Malzahn? How does losing 2 in a row feel?

Help Les out, he'd like to know.

Tell that to AJ Mcdashian. All those games he won and the BCS Titles and he got drafted in the fifth round. Yet will be starting over Andy Dalton by week 5.

Is this serious?

Some of you LSU fans are a trip.

This is the correct answer.

quote:

I still can't believe he didn't play 12 on 1/9. That guy killed us the year before and he didn't see 1 play. Jj always played well against us too, but to not see the field was just crazy, especially the way jj performed.

An absolute joke not to start Lee in any game that season. JJ was horrible.

quote:

And then to never insert Lee into that game, IMO, illustrated a degree of stubbornness that you just can't have and win in this conference.

Great post. Couldn't agree more.

quote:

I know he had really played bad against bama but give him one more shot

He didn't even play that bad. He had 1 int and then Miles pulled him.... 1. I know he had a second but I firmly believe the 2nd one was because he was trying too hard to make a play so as to avoid being pulled again.

Coker has zero pocket presence and awareness.

LOL and you know this how?

quote:

Yet will be starting over Andy Dalton by week 5.

That's asinine. McCarron is a career NFL backup type.

quote:

You mean you would take Cam over Lane Kiffin who has won a National Title as an OC.

Can he win without his boy Sarkisian? No.....

quote:

He probably would have finished the game with 6 or 7 picks

Had he not stupidly been benched after 1 int he wouldn't have even thrown two.

quote:

To give a real assessment, Jeennings will start but Harris is the better QB.

How in the world do you know that? Some of y'all are incredible.

quote:

However, just one series in the spring game is enough to see that Harris is the better QB, no doubt.

So because he was better on one day that means he is always better?

quote:

So Lee effectively ran the offense is what you are saying? Go back and watch some of those games and watch Lee make nice throws, nice reads, ball fakes, protect the ball, etc. Our offense was efficient and unpredictable because the play action pass was killer with Lee and the more pro-style look. Jefferson made shitty reads and had poor passing mechanics. I don't discount his contribution to the team, but I much preferred how our offense looked in 2011 under Lee than it ever did under Jefferson.

quote:

JJ played just as careful and did just the same as Lee did.

That's an absolute joke.
