Part of it is, seriously, Nick Saban. He couldn't get it done in the pros because grown men will not put up with Nick Saban.
Read the articles about coaches that left Alabama. Walking into a meeting room and demanding every coach sprint to get golf clubs to go to a booster event ? That's Nick Saban. Kirby Smart told that story.
Look gents, part of this story is simple. Nick Saban is a prick. When he's winning, it's funny. When he's not ? He's just a prick.
