I am just tired of feeling like most East teams are not even in the conference.

I agree, it sucks. And, no offense to Missouri, but when I see a game against them on the schedule I almost feel like I'm getting cheated out of a real game against an SEC East team we never play anymore. Expansion has been great and everything, but barely getting to play Florida/Georgia (Florida/Tennessee for AU) home and home really really sucks.

A lot of people don't realize that Florida and Tennessee were serious rivals for Auburn until 1992 (and later for Florida, obviously)

80 meetings before the annual rivalry was disbanded, this year would have been the 94th meeting. Still our second most played opponent.

They have to start beating Ole Miss first.

Any other big cons you can think of?

I don't want Alabama to drop off of the annual schedule.

Plus, every single scenario where this is proposed puts LSU in some division full of non-SEC founding teams. I want LSU to stay in the SEC.

But if you're scared, just say you're scared.

Not scared. Unlike LSU we want to play Florida.

You never hear us gripe about playing GA every year.

Also by getting rid of perm cross rivals it is not like we would have to wait six years to play.

For that matter. Why not north and south divisions?

Miles is 7-4 vs UF.

Auburn is 3-8 vs LSU since 2005 and 3-0 vs UF in that same span.

I can see why you're scared to play LSU and want to play UF more.

I just want a system where we get to play all the SEC teams more frequently.

The easiest fix is 9 conference games, but I can see why several schools would be really against that.

LOL at the LSU fans calling Auburn scared when you all have bitched incessantly about having UF on your schedule. The year you had UGA roll onto your schedule your fans screamed conspiracy.

It is kind of ironic.

Some of them howled because they played Fl and Alabama played Tenn.

Now they think suggesting adding Auburn to the East would make it easier, still playing Alabama, Ga, Tenn and Fl --- all because of the juggernaut that is LSU.

I haven't.

That means you're wrong about "you all". Some, yes, "all", no.

The cross-over scheduling was done unfairly. It's that simple.

No one at LSU is calling to get out of the division - the toughest one in college football. That would be Auburn fans...

...because they're scared.

Ah I see your confusion.

Simply put if Alabama went to the East, the West would NOT be the toughest division.

Cause you know, they win it a lot more than you do.

Say whatever else you want about the Aubs, but I have never heard them bitch about their schedule, scream about the unfairness of playing UGA every year (despite Richt having a superior record), crying about who Bama plays that year ( or who they don't play), or worrying about other teams schedules and postulating that Bama and Saban somehow controls it.

They just play their games and don't cry like LSU fans.

You would still play Alabama every year. the difference is that Auburn would be exchanging playing LSU every year for Florida every year...

...because Auburn's scared of LSU.

Why can't Bama and UT or Auburn just play ever year but it only count as an SEC game when its on the SEC schedule?

Each team wouldn't be able to schedule 2 D2 schools on those years, but UGA, SC, and UF all play out of conference rivals every year.

Except that now they're crying to keep from having to play LSU every year.

Much like Alabama fans crying about not having to play UGA more. They like their annual shite-pushing-in fest against Tennessee, they cry when people suggest rotating division teams more frequently.

I remember in the 2000's Bama fans were crying so much about how unfair everything was with the SEC that y'all were all crying about leaving the SEC to become independent like Notre Dame.

Like Notre Dame...
