More then Mullens for Bears drug arrest. You can deflect and try to defend Simmons beating a defenseless women on the ground. Coachs should have room to deal with their own I believe 100% except when it comes to a few different things and this one. Not pushing but beating a women on the ground helpless. And I'm not saying State is bad and if it is a gray shirt I think that would be fair just because it would be enough consequence. I don't care if State gets him because I never want my team to win because of something like this. This sucks and no one benefits but if you do what Simmons or the FSU QB or Ray Rice something real has to happen in response.

Show me where Simmons is enrolled at MSU and that might be an oranges to oranges comparison. Stringfellow was on an active scholarship when he committed his assault while Simmons is still in high school. It's not on MSU to punish him, that's on the legal system and his family. Now, once he gets on campus, there will be certain stipulations for him to remain on scholarship just like some of your players.

No he is bound to State by signing the LOI. People lose scholarships all the time for their actions before enrolling. Not just sports.

Save the moral compass...you're going to be starting a player on defense that sexually assaulted young men with his digits.

You don't want him on your team but you're okay with Stringfellow who hit a girl?

Where is my moral compass? I stated that I don't care if he needs up at state once this is over. Also way to show your a loyal EDer. Mayfield who is not even second team right now will play and as I have said that I support second chances. He lost his senior year, all his hope of a scholership out of high school went to prep school to learn and grow.

Now on this did he ever state he did that because all I read stated it never released who was involved and it's clear I miss stuff.

I think it's pretty clear Ole Miss fans quite simply just don't want this kid playing for Mississippi State. The high and mighty stuff is getting really old, though

Simmons isn't going to keep State relevant. Dline and LB are their two strongest position until they figure out Oline and prove they have a QB he wouldn't make a difference. That's really not what I care about.

That's not sugar son, that's cocaine. How many times do we have to go over this.
Stringfellow did it at another school but that's ok because the reverend Freeze saved and redeemed him. But this guy does it when he is not enrolled at State and we should be ashamed if we let him play.
Doublestandard maybe. I don't even know what TDOT is talking about touching and don't want to know but if that's the case with one of your players then we have got to talk about it as well to be fair.

Your still not seeing the vibe your putting off with all these om post. What it says to me is that you wanted him, didn't get him, and now that he did something that you have condoned on your team, you want him kicked to the curb because you didn't get him and don't want to play against him. That's it.
Get over it. He is gonna play just like Stringfellow. Just like players at every other school in the SEC, just like players in the NFL.
Simple assault, misdemeanor, community service and a fine. That's all that will happen.

Would comparing Chad and Simmons be a fair comparison on the part of not being enrolled? Serious question.

I know he doesn't really give a flying shite about the girl who got beat up. I mean, lets be real here.

If it was anyone else at any other school or not related to football he would probably watch the video and say, damn, that was crazy. And then something like, I cant believe we actually live in a world where crazy shite like this happens. Then he would move on with his life like it never happened. So spare the loving heart bs. Your not going to go donate time to kids to steer them in the right direction or help them out, your not changing your life to help others. Get out of here with this crap you keep saying like your a better person. Your sin is just as bad as his when you tell these lies and the reverend wont be able to save you man cause you pledging to the wrong man.

my question was rhetorical. no one ITT really cares about the girl who was punched. it's just a story that happened to have a video and, for ole miss fans, was a player on their rival's team. what they would never admit is if it was a player on their team, they'd be singing a completely different tune. it's fine, we all do it, but people really need to get off their collective high horses. the kid is 17, committed a misdemeanor offense, and has never been in trouble before. yes, hitting women is bad, but so are a hell of a lot of other things that people do, are punished for, and move on. generally, absent a felony, kids are not kicked off a football team as a first time offender

Thank you for continuing to prove my point.

Msu fans will justify any wrong doing from their players by deflecting like hell to ole miss.

Ole miss is absolutely irrelevant to Jeffery Simmons beating the shite out of a barely conscious woman. No matter how much you try to spin it....deflecting to ole miss players doesn't change the fact that Simmons is a piece of shite that pummeled a barely conscious woman.

Nothing else matters but that.....absolutely nothing. "But stringfellow tho" is not a a defense that will hold up in court when Simmons is has to face his charges.

You deflecting blame away from Simmons is borderline you condoning his actions.
